Whatever part of oil production that you are claiming Biden "shut down" sure doesn't seem to have had much of an effect according to this chart from the US EIA. Looks like production has been going up the entire time Biden's been in office.

In any case "it wouldn't have been as bad" is also speculation.

If that's true, then I stand corrected. It still makes me curious why Biden had to go begging hostile nations for more oil though, if America is still producing plenty of its own.

As a Conservative Christian, I have worked every day of my life.

I am a tradesman, so, I do pretty well as far as finances. I do feel the bite and have cut back on eating out. It used to be $25 with tip for the wife and I, now 8% inflation has made it $40+.

It is the people that work at entry level jobs that are hurting. They go to work every day and I can't imagine what one meal at McDonald's does to their budget.

Those that suck the gubmint teat don't suffer at all because you gladly give your 30% to the gubmint. I too give it but not gladly.
