This is actual fake news. They did not know that there were terrorists in Tajikistan and they did not go to show their belief in human kindness.

Oh, and leftists are not liberals. Liberals want to take your guns. Leftists want workers to have guns for the Revolution. There's even a Socialist Rifle Association.
reply

First, so they didn't know there were terrorists in terrorist territory?

Secondly, Snopes? Really?

Lastly, I've been making that distinction between the left and liberals for a while now. Perhaps you'll notice that the word "liberal" doesn't appear anywhere at all in my meme. The left wing is no longer liberal. Anyone who wants to take away any rights is not a liberal, they are the proto-fascists they claim to fight against.

Yeah Meme-osis_Master definitely took it way too far, I don't consider myself either side, right now, since I don't trust Democrats, and put only a little bit of trust in Conservatives, basically I just want whats best for the country, and chose who I think would be best to run it.
reply
2 ups, 1 reply
"...basically I just want whats best for the country..."

I think the vast majority of Americans feel the exact same way, even if they disagree on exactly what is best.

"I don't wish death on anyone, with a different ideology, but do disagree, or sometimes think of them as dumb? ...Yes, but who doesnt?"

I think that's perfectly normal. What matters is that people can disagree civilly without descending into childish insults (and yes, I've been guilty of that myself).

Let's ignore that it happened so the liberal narrative stays intact.
reply
6 ups, 3 replies
"Evil is a make-believe concept" is a "leftist narrative"? According to whom?
reply
8 ups, 1 reply
According to people with a good solid anchor in reality. That isn't limited to just people on the right, but I'm pretty sure you won't find anyone on the right who thinks that "there is no valid reason for islamophobia" (another leftist narrative), and who would ride a bicycle through ISIS territory and believe they'd be perfectly safe doing so.
reply
5 ups, 2 replies
It depends on how you define islamophobia, to be honest.

And as far as bicycling through ISIS territory, I personally don't know any liberals who would do that. Just because these people did, that doesn't mean "liberals" would do the same. And to be nice and balanced, I do know of some conservatives who got themselves in life-threatening situations because they believed god would protect them.
reply
3 ups, 1 reply
These days I make distinction between "leftists" and "liberals". However you have a fair point on religious people (not all conservatives are religious), ie missionaries and such.
reply
3 ups, 1 reply
That's a good point; I wasn't even thinking about missionaries, though they definitely apply as well. I was thinking more along the lines of people who choose prayer over proper medical treatment, then end up dying because they didn't get...wait for it...proper medical treatment.
reply
1 up, 1 reply
Yep, them too. But that also applies to people like contemporary "hippies", those who put more faith in holistic medicine than in proper medical treatment, which tends to be a more left-wing ideology.
reply

There's hate on both side, Both sides have extremists, But I only see liberals burning the American flag and kneeling during the national anthem while they claim they're saving America from President Trump and calling anyone who supports the President a Nazi. It's hard to hear a voice of reason from a liberal when the majority are screaming Nazi & Russian bots.
reply
1 up, 1 reply
You and I disagreed for days, I had to reach out to you for a civil conversation, We have our differences, But at least we are civil now, Most other liberals just insult & refuse to listen, Name calling & profanity are all they're interested in.
reply
1 up
Yes, too many liberals call people names when they don't agree with them. You're right. I don't hear them calling people Nazis or racists that much, to be honest, mostly Russian bots or something like that. And many conservatives get frustrated and just call their opponents libtards or marxists and stuff like that. It's annoying when either side does it.

"There's hate on both side, Both sides have extremists"

I agree

I don't think it's the majority of liberals calling people Nazis. I think it's the vocal minority. Same with conservatives who call people names: it's the vocal minority.

Liberals may burn the flag more than conservatives, that's probably true. But both sides have their violent rhetoric.

"You and I disagreed for days, I had to reach out to you for a civil conversation, We have our differences, But at least we are civil now..."

I agree, and that's a good thing. And I appreciate that you've stopped calling people "libtards". A little respect goes a long way.
reply
5 ups, 1 reply
We learned from the best :) Getting told you're worse than dogshit for a year and a half and having millions wish you'd die simply because you voted differently than someone is something your side has perfected. Not that I'd expect you to ever acknowledge that. I've posted pictures of multiple different trump supporters getting beaten on here and you just brush it off as "oh that isn't proof that that happens".
The left is sick and your defense of its atrocities makes you no less of a shithead than those that defended the guy running over the woman in Charlottesville. You see vile actions being committed by your own side but choose to ignore them.
reply
2 ups, 1 reply
You mean like many conservatives have been saying liberals are worse than dog shit for a year and a half (and longer)?

That's cool, just show me a screenshot of me brushing off attacks against Trump supporters as not being proof that it happens. I'll wait. And if you don't back up that claim with evidence, I'm justified in calling you a liar. Because I don't say that Trump supporters are never attacked, and I never have.

Also, since when do two wrongs make a right?

Despite libtard moral equivalence, the fact remains that some people and philosophies are better than others. For example, a culture that denigrates women is inferior to one that treats them as equals. Likewise a political philosophy that destroys the country such as Libtardism is worse for the country than if it's adherents just died. You can live in a fantasy world where all ideas are equal, but I refuse to say square wheels are as good as round.
reply
1 up, 1 reply
I agree that some people and philosophies are better than others. I never once said that all ideas are equal or morally valid.

What you don't seem to be able to realize is that there's a huge difference between saying an idea is bad, and saying it would be good if people who hold to that idea should die. If someone has a bad idea, the rational thing to do is correct them and show them why their idea is bad, not wish death upon them.

reply
0 ups, 1 reply
Nope, but we're not talking about liberals or conservatives, we're talking about leftists, who are no longer qualified to be called "liberal".
reply
0 ups, 1 reply
Fair enougg. But I have to ask, what defines the term "leftist" then? I've heard the term thrown around a lot, and people often use it interchangably with liberal, similarly to how some liberals incorrectly use alt-right and conservative? Is it like a sort of alt-left?
reply
0 ups
Well, leftist means left-wing, and the left-wing embraces ideologies such as, for example, socialism and communism, which in their ultimate forms are not even remotely liberal.

Leftists also paradoxically embrace Islam and sharia law, two of the most contemporarily oppressive ideologies in the world. They also advocate for "Big Government", wanting the US government to essentially take more control over the people, something decidedly non-liberal, that actually goes against the liberal principles of the past.

You say that as though people don't get murdered by Americans in the United States ~ 10,566 so far in 2018 alone. As for Afghan civilians murdered during the war in Afghanistan, 2,640 Afghans were killed in the war in the first nine months of 2017, and 5,379 were injured in that same period. So 2 American civilians killed is not even close to comparable. As for U.S. soldiers killed in Afghanistan, only 2,301 were killed between 2001 and 2013 (that's a 12 year period), compared to 6,700 Afghan soldiers killed in just 2017. (The U.S. government now hides the number of Afghans killed, because they fear the American public might get upset & start agitating to stop the war.) Given that WE are making war on THEM, we can hardly complain when Americans are killed by Afghans. If you invade a country & kill a lot of people, some of those people that are being attacked are naturally going to fight back. Seriously, get real!

let's not forget Otto Warmbier, who went sightseeing in North Korea and returned with a hero's welcome only to die an hour later. Or we could mock missionaries who go into dangerous situations...or the people who actually have to live in those places who have no choice...they must be pretty dumb. This is just a pretty low hanging fruit kind of humor. But it's a free country, and this is where the minds and souls of many are revealed, albeit anonymously.
reply
2 ups, 1 reply
I think the difference is, missionaries know what there getting into, they know that there are dangerous and evil people out there and try to avoid such areas, but are willing to risk their lives for what they believe in. But the two people who believed there was no evil in people and that evil was "make believe" didn't do so for a good cause or for any rational
