By no means do I think every democrat is insane. The far left is insane. And unlike the far-right, it's not culturally taboo to be far left even though they're just as hateful. There's a difference between leftists and liberals. I can usually talk peacefully with liberals no matter how much we disagree on. Most of the people I get along with on this site are more liberal.
Leftists often scold you for your opinions and call you evil and resort to gaslighting to "win arguments". And they're more likely to cut you off for doing or saying something they don't like (like the ppl on tiktok who cut their families off for voting Trump). I know ppl irl who have cut people off for having different opinions. Not all are like that, but many are. The Republicans I'm not sure I'm not one so I can't talk much about this subject. While there are extremist there. There are some on this website but a lot are nice people. My best friend's dad voted for Trump while I don't agree with everything he says he's not a terrible man.
