Same for a parasitic worm - aka fetus...it can kill it's self but if mom does it while in utero it's murder (same as when another person causes the death of a woman's unborn child).

I understand the law says it is illegal in 40 (?) out of the 50 states and call me a monster or "murder apologist" or whatever you want but I think it's cruel to force someone sick, in constant pain, stuck rotting away in a hospital to remain alive. That is technically "being alive" but idk if it is what i'd consider "life".

Also I'm assuming by "can" you mean it theoretically has the freedom to do so....?? idk. As far as I know a fetus cannot kill itself. If I'm wrong, how does that happen?

I can accept those with terminal illness being assisted with suicide. It is their right as a human. The right to die goes hand in hand with the right to life.

Of course I mean that the fetus can choose to kill themselves philosophically.

Mom, by having sexual intercourse and being inseminated, successfully fertilizing an egg, forfeited her right to autonomy for 9 to 10 months. Her body is now a shared body not her own.

Aborting the fetus is murder even if she considers it an unwanted parasitic bloated sac of protoplasm. Give birth and leave it behind (in a firehouse, hospital, police station - not a dumpster) There is no criminal or civil penalty for doing so.

In the same way I wouldn't consider rotting in a hospital as "life" despite being technically alive, if somehow I was magically reverted back to fetus stage of development I also wouldn't consider that "life".... Possibly even less than the hospitalized terminally ill example considering that it seems debatable whether or not a fetus is conscious of its own existence...(at least not on the same level as people who have already been born). People sometimes say oh ya well what if YOU had been aborted?? To which I say well then I guess I would've never existed to be having this conversation in the first place.

Anywho... Good luck forcing women who either chose or did not choose to have sex irresponsibly sober, intoxicated, or on drugs to give birth in the states with the most lax gun laws. Cut the social programs too while you're at it. Irresponsible women will change, I can feel it!

I'm not against ending social programs. They have only weakened individuals and led to a gross lack of personal responsibility.

As far as your question. I don't know. I'm not that theoretical person. I don't advocate abortion, I advocate the ability to have the choice... Similar to suicide. I heard somewhere they actually have suicide pods. Seems like an interesting idea. Both are clearly not ideal. In an ideal society we wouldn't have abortions or suicide. But our society is clearly not ideal.

People on the right will complain on and on about fentanyl overdoses (now that Joe Biden is president). I forget what the figure is exactly but it seemed like it was something like 500,000 ODs in the past decade..... And this makes me wonder..... Would we be better off as a society if the ~half a million drug addicts had not overdosed? I understand it sucks for their loved ones but the answer seems unclear at best. If they had received treatment and become sober responsible people sure... But idk how likely that is...especially if you're taking cutbacks on rehabs, mental help places, etc.

Perhaps I misunderstand the semantic difference between pro choice and abortion advocacy.

I am still left wondering why you want taxpayer funded mental health programs and services so people don't commit suicide when you are pro choice regarding what a person does with his or her own body.

The addicts relied on others being responsible for their well being while they themselves did not participate in their well being.

If addicts could be helped there would be no addicts. Well, except for newbies.

I think people should have the freedom to smoke (possibly including menthols or whatever flavors...) and drink booze... but I wouldn't necessarily say oh ya you should go out and do that.

Are Mental health programs solely to prevent suicide..? Also if someone is certifiably insane and suicidal it might be a good idea for someone to keep an eye on them. They might want to take a few others with them, mass shooting style.

A pro-life advocate probably wouldn't want Chicago to be an exception. I'm saying I wonder if it happened there if that would exacerbate their gun violence problem. And possibly make repubs realize oh.. our goal here might be a bad idea. But on the other hand they might also just say oh wow look at all these shootings, we need even more guns! Idk.

As far as your burning q, I assume you're talking about someone like... attacking a pregnant woman and killing her fetus in the process..(?). If so, I assume that's because it COULD have become a life and it was not the woman's choice to end it. I think the legal punishment for that isn't the same as murdering an actual (born) human but I could be wrong about that. I'm not a lawyer.

Might be interesting legal gray area if the attack happened on the way to get an abortion...idk 🤔

When you start caring about all of the evidence that points from multiple sources, testimonies and receipts for Trump inciting a riot on capitol hill to stop the transfer of power, I'll care.

By "I'll care" I mean that I will care about what grievances you have. Once Republicans stop running defense for someone who is obviously a criminal without.

You're not interested in the rule of law, you're about getting even. Biden investigation has his spot in the queue and we'll see the evidence it brings. But face it, Trump has backlogged our justice system.
