I worked with large numbers of women and heard most of them say countless times how they didn't need a man to which I said that's why you ain't got one.
Understand that 5 minutes earlier I listened to these same women on the verge of tears complaining that they couldn't get a man.
Then the usual refrain - "all the good men are taken".
On that I'd tell em they ain't taken they're overlooked.
They'd say they shouldn't have to "settle" and I'd say what makes you think a feller ain't settling fer you?
One day this one lady was making sport of ol regular to a group talking about how I expected a women to do all the housework - cookin n a cleaning, and I admitted that yes I do. She replied how unfair that is cause the women worked too. Shoulda seen their faces when I said my wife never worked outside the house. Taking care of me, home, and kids was her job and we agreed on that before we were married. In return I took care of her needs and wants. Besides, she'd rather mop the air conditioned kitchen than cut the grass.
If you ask me all that toxic talk is just sour grapes. Poison ain't toxic unless a person fool's around with it if you catch my meanin
