Well here's the thing. It is being called the Black National Anthem. If it is blacks trying to make it a national anthem for blacks then the segregation is not on the white side, it is on the black side. They are declaring themselves a separate nation.

Right now native America tribes living on reservations are considered a separate nation. They could have their own National Anthem and perhaps some or all of the different tribes do. That I don't know.

So the question is are blacks a separate nation? If they are then where is their nation? Why are black NFL players playing on the same teams as non-blacks? Shouldn't they play on teams representing their own nation? And if a separate nation then they forfeit any claim, no matter how ridiculous it is, to reparations.

If they aren't a separation nation then we already have a national anthem. We could petition the government to change from "Star Spangled Banner" to "Lift Every Voice and Sing". For that matter would could petition the government to change the national anthem to "Rock and Roll All Nite" by Kiss or even better "Capitalism" by Oingo Boingo.

We cannot have two national anthems. That is why "Star Spangled Banner" is our national anthem and "America the Beautiful" and "My Country, 'Tis of Thee" are just patriotic songs.
