They're all Left bias, meaning "manufactured to hate Trump." In short, you have nothing.

Your own fact check website says they are factual. You may not like what they say but it’s true.

Trump didn't call all Mexican's criminals, he said their criminals are crossing the border with the illegal immigrants. Mexico has it's share of criminals just like every other country. Not a racist comment. Also, technically, anyone who breaks the law, even IMMIGRATION laws, are considered criminals.

He banned travel to and from Islamic heavy countries to curb the amount of potential terrorists entering America. Yes, not all Islamic people are terrorists, but you can't tell by looking at them, and background checks take time and money. Not racist

Oh, he called Haiti a shithole? Have you SEEN Haiti, and not the Haiti Democraps WANT you to see? Type Haiti into Google Images and see what you get; GI links are way too long to post

Oh, he made a comment about India's awful air quality? Once again, have you SEEN the India Democrats don't want you to see? It's a known fact that out of the top 30 cities with the worst air quality on Earth, 21 are in India as of 2019: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_pollution_in_India

Not even your precious Vox could ignore it, though as usual, their numbers aren't up to date: https://www.vox.com/2018/5/8/17316978/india-pollution-levels-air-delhi-health

If it's fact, it isn't racist, and you can shut up now

I was thinking more global as the volume of American memes swamp the swamp. Plus where's the fun sitting in a political meme stream where everyone agrees with you politically...

But who is getting an infrastructure deal done now?

[deleted]
4 ups, 4y,

And yet I’m still against pork. Why are you all for it?
4 ups, 4y,
1 reply
Proper governance requires compromise. It does. So, sometimes there are things in a bill that you may not think are necessary but are in order to get someone else to vote for it.

That's a fact. And why you label as pork may actually be something useful for somewhere else.

I sincerely doubt you've read any of the 2K+ pages of this bill. I bet the reason you're all "it's bad!!!" is because you've been told it's bad without specific details.

It's full of things like a fund for salmon population recovery in Washington and Alaska. That sounds like a good idea to me.

A study to see if first responders should actually use bicycles to enter disaster zones rather than traditional vehicles. I hadn't thought about that. We should look into that to see if it's better & more efficient.

And money for research into how collisions between vehicles and wildlife impact the wildlife in the area. Since we're gonna be rebuilding and building roads, that seems like a reasonable thing to do.

It's got stuff for bridges, roads, highways, and broadband internet. Stuff for electric cars. All sensible stuff.

What's not in it that I wanted to see? 28% minimum corp tax. Pay raise requirements for home healthcare workers. Job training for those displaced from employment by covid. expansion of medicade. And a bunch of other stuff.

So. What specifically do you think shouldn't be in the bill?
4 ups, 4y,
2 replies
"So. What specifically do you think shouldn't be in the bill?"

To begin with, anything that hasn't to do with infrastructure. That doesn't belong in an "infrastructure" bill.

Next, anything that does. Government doesn't work, never did, and never will.
1 up, 4y,
6 replies
So, you've never heard social infrastructure?
0 ups, 4y,
1 reply
Yes. It's a bromide politicians use as an excuse to include personal favors in laws where they have nothing to do.
0 ups, 4y
So what you're saying is, if it doesn't benefit you, it must be being used for less than wholesome means?

0 ups, 4y,

Same question as before, and same answer: Observation and experience.
0 ups, 4y
So, what can you tell me about some of your "observations" and "experience?"
0 ups, 4y,
1 reply
My observations and experience? I have yet to see a politician who isn't in the game for money or power. They will lie to you in order to be elected, then do whatever it takes to be re-elected. They will speak to the voters once every two or four years, and serve themselves the rest of the time.

Once a dog has bitten, I don't trust it. Especially when it makes a habit of seeking out people in order to bite them. And then claiming that "They elected me; they wanted to be bitten!"

You may have different experiences. Or believe that you do, or maybe you have some reason to trust them. I don't.
0 ups, 4y
Is there a politician you do trust? Any? At all? Do you even vote?
0 ups, 4y,
1 reply
No, what I'm saying is, government doesn't work.

And what's worse, government doesn't intend to work, except for its own benefit.

But then I remembered that many liberals also post things on the internet.

I agree. Refusing to do the work is not actually conservatism tho. Their answer to shit or get off the pot is to get off the pot long enough to blame Democrats just to get back on the pot and wait for shit to happen.

He wasn't in charge of most of that. You need to go back and read the conditional powers of a president.
1 up, 4y,
1 reply
You know, that’s exactly why I didn’t vote for Trump.

He made so many promises that were beyond his conditional powers as President. He still managed to keep some of those promises despite that.

But thank you for essentially pointing out how much of a shit President he was and that he was more a snake oil salesman.
0 ups, 4y,

If he were a snake oil salesman, he would be a professional career politician, not a most unwelcome gatecrasher at the self-appointed, self-aggrandizing party in Washington, DC.
0 ups, 4y,
1 reply
I didn't say he was a great snake oil salesman.

Somehow, all his faults have fallen under the radar to most of you until he ran for President.

Then, when he ran for President and the media RIGHTLY shed light on a few of them, Trump called the media liars.

And you gullibly believed it.

He very nearly almost self-appointed himself President in 2020.

Better politicians who knew their place only as representatives and not rulers said no.

Republicans and Democrats alike.

Republicans now try to harness that same gullibility to elect lesser representatives to usurp foolish ones. Personally, I see no problem with voting for a Democrat President. They're only figureheads, after all. The real power is in the states. Unless, of course, someone were to try to overturn that power through the court.

The only ones capable of doing that are the Supreme Court and, as you know, that power has been safely contained behind Republican-elected officials.
