i'm not saying i'm normal. however, in this context, the average person will see the people who shout "stop voting democrats" as fat people with greasy hair and big glasses.

Why?

They're the ones who work towards the things I want for the county: healthcare, education, and infrastructure projects.

the GQP doesn't do any of that.

Other than lowering taxes for the rich, exactly what policies does the GQP have or enact that benefit anyone other than the rich (with those lower taxes)?

Can you list any?

Wondering if you have even the slightest idea what is going on on the southern border, or in police departments nationwide, or record unemployment in a record job openings market. How dare you bring up education; democrats greatest single debacle
5 ups, 3y,

I live in Texas, bruh. I get to hear about the faux-crisis at the border every day.

Record unemployment, huh? You probably don't actually read or look anything up. Record unemployment would be 14.80%. Under ya boi Trump. Current unemployment? 5.9%. not exactly a record.

And who keeps cutting funding for public education?

AGAIN: what policies other than cutting taxes for the rich does the GQP have? Can you name them?
6 ups, 3y
"I get to hear about the faux-crisis ..."
Let me guess; CNN? You people are soooo ignorant
[deleted]

Under Trump pre lockdowns the unemployment rate was 3.5%, the lowest in over 50 years
4 ups, 3y
Border crises is real.
If you remove pandemic numbers from both, Trump wins unemployment hands down.
Funding isn't the issue. The issue is how they use the money.

14.8% unemployment at the peak of lockdowns started by Democrats, not Trump. Also, it immediately began dropping at a rate 12x faster than Obama’s recovery from the 2008 recession. Thank Trump for that.

Here’s a more accurate graph. You’ll notice that after 8 YEARS of Obama slllooooowwwwllllyyy recovering he still never even got to the unemployment rate under Bush pre recession. Then look at Trump’s recovery speed in 2020 caused by Lockdowns he opposed. Re employment under Trump went at a speed 12x as fast as under Obama. Now go ahead, deny facts.

Short version: Democrats started lockdowns, lockdowns caused mass unemployment, Trump had good economic policies that quickly started bringing employment back to where it should be. Arguing this is denying facts. The end.
0 ups, 3y
No.

Your inverted reading of ALL of the graphs was, well, inverted.
Like the rest of everything you said, your Trumpated bs is incorrrect.

You ARE aware Trump is no longer in office?

Public education need to be replaced with school choice. Marxist teachers unions have taken control of public education . Hopefully they keep the schools closed and provide a real chance at reform of this leftist biased corrupt system.

And Trump was cracking down the Border situation. It was the Dems that kept sabotaging everything.

Police - So you have a collective mindset. . .nice to know.

Jobs - Why work when you can get a government check? Trump wanted people back to work as soon as possible Dem. governors and mayors kept pushing it back.

Trump and Taxes - Taxes are to be like patient and client(lawyers) records - private and nobody else's business. The whole idea of people running for office and revealing their tax information was a Democrat invention to gain votes.
Also if Trump was breaking Tax Law then the IRS would've nailed him by nail cause they love to nail famous rich people.
1 up, 3y
What a load of disingenuous nonsense. Comparing what’s goin on at the border now to anything before January of this year is ridiculous. There is no comparison ever in the history of the country. Your third person references indicate some form of mental illness may be present so “we” will assume you are not on.

F da police is what criminals always say.
7 ups, 3y,
1 reply
Why? Maybe because they dislike feces and public urination or maybe they would like for criminals to be put in jail and not allowed to commit wanton murder and crime with impunity. It could be because they want their children to be in school getting a real education in the subjects that matter and not Marxist culture. Maybe they don’t want uncontrolled immigration that diminishes quality of life and raises taxes for all Americans. Jeez the list goes on and on.

nice attempt at a dodge.

But what policies are the GQP putting in place to help the poor? To help people?

Cutting taxes helps the wealthy. It does jack and shit for everyone else.
4 ups, 3y,
1 reply
Yes the poor are doing so well in the Democrat blue cities living and pooping in the streets. Their policies are failures and there are examples in every city run entirely by Democrats for decades. Those are the examples of the “prosperity” the rest of America can expect if they follow those same policies nationally.

The rich are on the left now you aren’t a rebel you are the establishment. Big Gov, Big Corp, and Big Tech are the unholy trinity. It’s hilarious that you think you need to stick it to the man. You are the man.

1 up, 3y
WE KNOW, YOU WANT A FREE HANDOUT PAID FOR BY THE WORKING PEOPLE. SOUND FISCAL POLICY HELPS EVERYONE.

I believe it was the Cheeto that created opportunity zones in poor neighborhoods. You want a list of freebies to match the Democrats. Ya sorry don’t have that because it just creates the crap that blue cities are.

Of course they aren’t offering to pay rich kids college loans, that’s the Democrats.

Cutting taxes does nothing to help anybody but the rich? Then answer me this: why did most of the wealthy vote against Trump both in 2016 and 2020? Why did income inequality under Trump fall for 2 years and by the largest amount in over a decade? Why did the bottom 50% of American households see a 40% increase in net worth?

If you want to see a full list of accomplishments read here:

Seems like you didn’t read the article after all. But anyway, the answer to what policies would be not much, and that’s the whole point. Republicans believe in the free market, so they tend to do the opposite of get the government involved in the economy.
1 up, 3y,

Reading a list of the Trump administration "accomplishments" is not a list of what the GQP offers in the way of policy.

Handwaving and saying "small government & free market" are not policies.

“Handwaving and saying small government & free market are not policies.”

EXACTLY. The whole point pf believing in the free market is I want the economy run by the people, I DON’T want politicians controlling the whole show with endless policies.

Given the terminally-on-life-support economies of Red States and their dependence on gov't jobs to supplement the hand outs, that wouldn't seem the case.

Also, one patented Republican President way to help alleviate recessions is by hiring more Federal workers. The amount that Reagan alone hired is dizzying, and he wasn't alone.

I’m not sure where you got that idea from. Here’s a list of the top 10 states with the least and most welfare spending. Take a look at how many in both lists are red and how many are blue states.

I won’t believe any wild claims you make without some evidence, so congratulations wasting your own time.

Nice try. If you bother to actually read the article you’ll see the list doesn’t just go by total welfare spending, it goes by per capita.
0 ups, 3y
No. links. still.

How in heckers hell can ya expect moi ta do fer ya what y'er too lazy ta do fer yerself?

The chief industries of Red States are:
Goverment jobs,
Industries from the north offered huge tax incentives to relocate manufacturing facilities down south with lower wages to boot,
and
Heavily subsidized farming.

I'm sure dining establishments make a buck or two from those driving through en route to states that are actual destinations as opposed to those cut with meandering scenic freeways and their profit raking tolls.

And yet still their per capita welfare rates exceed that of the more prosperous states they suckle the teat of.
Weird, innit?
0 ups, 3y
It's not like those anemic states have some sort of hidden industry pumping riches they've been keeping secret from us.

then signed the expansion in 2010.

Defund the Police means stop expecting them to deal with situations they're neither trained nor equipped to deal with, and then hire trained professionals who can handle those situations.
