You're just wrong. I understand you can find some interesting definitions of new political terms in the urban dictionary otherwise known as the internet. But socialism fails to be socialism when it no longer leads to communism. "Democratic socialism" is not a real thing. We currently live in a capitalist driven republic which employs too many socialist programs. So called "social democrats" want these programs to overwhelm the capitalist foundation and further government control of our freedoms. This results in socialism, contrary to what you think you know.

Actually Democratic socialism is a political philosophy that advocates political democracy alongside social ownership of the means of production, with an emphasis on self-management and democratic management of economic institutions within a market or some form of decentralized planned socialist economy. Its essentially Socialism but gained through Democratic Ballot box revolution instead of an actual revolution.

Funny thing, Social Democracy developed alongside Socialism and was one of the first ideologies that adopted some of the good polices of Socialism such as A minimum wage or no Child labour and discarded the parts about having to establish a dictatorship to get those things. What part of that do you not understand? Social Democrats such as AOC and Sanders think more should be done for such a great nation such as America. Germany has one of the if not the most oldest Social Democratic Party in the world, the SPD formed around 1850s, which is still going strong today, even if it is but a shadow of its former self (Damned Nahles! And that guy before her! Ruined the SPD with their submissive polices to the CDU/CSU) and we have tons of Social Programs and a Social Justice system and were are the biggest economy in Europe! One of the mkst prosperous too. Somewhere we had to have done something right with our Sozialgesetze!

Social programs and "a little socialism" are not the same thing. Right now social programs are threatening to out weigh the freedom of capitalism.

The argument is wrong, first off. Socialism is a jumping off point to communism and therefore are very similar in scope. If someone tells me that they love socialism but hate communism, I would tell them "just wait." Both socialism and communism are legal theft and are morally wrong.

I have that option, yes. It's their right to charge me and my right to bypass it. That has nothing to do with communism or socialism.

No, you do NOT have that option nor is it a right, hence why imgflip or YouTube or any other site does NOT offer that option.

I'm not saying it's a right given by our constitution. I'm saying I have that option. If it's not an option I wouldn't be allowed to do it. YouTube doesn't have to offer it for me to be able to do it. It's an option I have, nonetheless.

I'm not sure what you're misunderstanding here. YouTube doesn't give you that choice. It's a program you can legally put onto your computer called "ad block" that blocks all ads on every site. Some sites will ask you to disable the ad block before browsing their site, but they give you the option. It isn't illegal. It doesn't have anything to do with socialism. Not sure where you're connecting the two.

If the sites want to disable this option, then by all means... But right now, there's nothing illegal about it and there's nothing socialist about it.

Not all sites can detect ad block, and some can either block anyone using it or just go around it. That's why these apps or browsers with ad block are eventually replaced as their ability to do so is circumvented.

Because there's also nothing illegal about working off the books and paying no taxes nor illegal immigration either because they're hired to do just that?
