The Texas wrestler was taking testosterone supplements, which is prohibited for normal people. This is an example of trans people wanting special treatment. The rules were that you had to wrestle based on your sex but she/he wanted them to make an exception.
It’s not conservatives who are confused. They don’t want biological male perverts “legal” access to women’s rooms by dressing up as a female and claiming they are transgender.
Just because trans athletes don’t always win a gold medal doesn’t mean they don’t have a physical advantage.
But they are male. The whole separate men’s and women’s sports is based on sex, not social gender. Notice that there aren’t any trans men wanting to play in men’s sports? It’s because, unlike trans women, they don’t have a physical advantage.
