You’re the one who brought up “convicted felon.” I’m just sharing why a candidate as bad as Trump was able to easily beat the incumbent VP (who had been pretty much campaigning for 4 years via her words and actions). More time wouldn’t have gotten her any better results. In fact it would have probably caused her to lose even more votes because the more she spoke, the worse she sounded.
