Just a note. The very existence of the MAGA movement—with former Democrats now in the Republican Party, starting with Donald Trump—is due precisely to the spiraling new wave of censorship, dictatorship, anti-law-and-order sentiment, anarchy, totalitarianism, “woke” ideology, socialism, globalism, communism, LGBTIQ+ pedophilia, etc., within the Democratic Party and its laws and ineptitude.

Therefore, what the Democratic Party must do is return to democratic normality, free of totalitarian ideas.

The truth is that the democrat party is built on oppression of some kind. Starting with slavey then onto segregation and Jim Crow Laws. Even the Deal New and Great Society have elements of oppression and suppression. What those two do has the government saying, "You accepted our help now you owe us!" They even tainted the Civil Rights Bill/Law with the expectation of Blacks and other Non-Whites to always vote democrat.

Today we have the Internet censorship, messing with the English language, even with God given natural biology and what it means to be a male or female. Finally there is their allying themselves with ideals that are just as bad like communism and radical islam.

Slavery used to be practiced throughout the United States, eventually falling out a favor in the Northeast but not in the South. Segregation was a British practice, it has why it was seen in British colonies throughout the world. In fact the name Wales is derived from an old Anglo word meaning foreigner. So basically the Northeast fought against slavery during the Civil War, just like it basically fought the Revolutionary War, just like it basically fought World War I & II and so on and so forth, and yes, rebuilt the South by modernizing it and taking it out of the Third World with the New Deal and a society that was greater than dirt roads, candles, and lynchings of anybody who wasn't a Protestant Anglo whenever they felt like it. My gosh, the selfies they took back then. Ugh, unimaginable to the civilized North.

So yes, you have the Northeast to thank/blame for bringing the South and the rest of the planet into the modern era. We literally recreated the world in our own image. Goodness gracious, Southerners from politicians to those in Hollywood to country musicians, of all things, take courses to erase their accents. That's how embarrassed they are and wish they were us. You're forgetting a few things. The south was the main producer of resources all the way from shortly after the revolutionary war starting with farmers on up until the 90s when they shipped the jobs out. You act like the north west was somehow better but without the south they wouldn't have been able to operate.

No, it wasn't. The South's economy was agrarian, dependent on cash crops cotton and tobacco. All they did was supply the raw material. The Northeast was where the manufacturing happened. How could you not know this?

After the 1950s, factories from the North were lured to the South with tax cuts and subsidies, much as they were later lured to China and elsewhere in Asia with the same. That's what ruined the economies Chicago and Detroit, production was shipped to the South.

Perhaps you should familiarize yourself with these simple basics in United States economic history.
