Moral equivalency arguments are invalid. Pretending modern day islam and the Old Testament have anything in common just shows ignorance of both religions and doesn't change the truth about modern muslims. You should have went with not all islamic countries follow sharia to the letter. That doesn't excuse the ones that do but at least you could have made a better apologist
