What the nazis did was so far beyond the imagination of the average imgflip user, or modern liberal, that if they could even grasp what nazism truly means, they would never call someone that just becvause they disagreed with their politics.

Yall been running the Nazi label with anyone who disagrees with you for far too long. It's old. We already had 4 years of Trump before. Hitler needed barely any time in office before he took over everything and became a dictator.

He said "my heart goes out to all of you" and put his hand on his heart and stretched his arm out to the crowd.
The Nazi salute was like a military salute, you put your hand to your head like a salute, and then stretched it out.

One is a gesture to the crowd. The other is a "follow the leader" type movement that would result in the crowd being demanded to do the salute themselves.
These two are not the same.

And if we're arguing they are, there are a whole lot of politicians I could make look like Nazis just because they were simply waving or stretching their hand out to a crowd.

Besides, Elon Musk has been left of center all the time. Because he's fighting for free speech and against internet censorship, he's suddenly wants to control everyone in America. Make that make sense. He has voted Democrat in every election leading up to this one. He only left the left because they were trying to control speech and he didn't appreciate that, which is why he bought Twitter at a cost that lost him billions in the worst economy we've had since Jimmy Carter.

So let me get this straight from their perspective. 1) you try to control speech by pressuring every big social media site into succumbing... or else. (Amd we know they did that). Once they're all in line, you control whats right and wrong, what's true and false, etc. 2) a billionaire buys one of the platforms and won't take your threats or bribes. This throws a wrench in everything bc in order for censorship to work, every platform has to be censored or you'll be exposed as liars and control freaks. So, 3) you accuse the billionaire of trying to control everyone in the world because he just ruined your plan to control everyone's speech.

you know Elon Musk co-founded PayPal decades ago, and if he wanted to access all your information, he could've easily done it without you even knowing way back then. There would be no need to buy his way into the government for it.
