Che personally murdered thousands of Cubans with a pistol. That must be why the tee shirts look so...uninformed.

I thought he only killed hundreds personally, and he ordered the execution of thousands. A psychopath can't do everything by himself. Carpal Tunnel injury of the trigger finger might be a risk.

I read 4500 or more. That's one reason the Bolivians made sure he was dead.

Castro sent him off to Africa because the Soviets were beginning to be concerned with Che's blood lust. Why would anyone wear a Che t-shirt? Pure ignorance.

Supporting socialism at XXI century should be considered mental pathology

I have noticed that it is only people that contribute nothing to society are the socialists. Every Carpenter, electrician, welder, plumber and construction foreman that I had the pleasure to work with , were all conservative capitalists.

Going by the right wing metric. Leftist is synonymous with Liberal/socialist/communist/etc.

Setting aside the label, it's anyone who doesn't agree with them. Comparing the two major voting bases in the US, one of the talking points of the Right Wing is that colleges/universities are liberally biased. Insofar as they cannot be trusted for their education, when in fact many of the "leftist universities" (including Ivory League schools) are known for their science colleges and are world-renowned. Going beyond that, it is a fact that surveys have shown that typically, conservative/rightwing voters have a lower rate of higher education among younger voters and still trailing (2015 https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2015/04/07/a-deep-dive-into-party-affiliation/). I would like to see more updated surveys, but this is the one that I could find.

Even if the data is untrue as of late. It's a confusing meme being that the Right Wing is now seemingly against public education, while also benefitting from the most public assistance by state.

Ligma2, explain to me how you are good at history, and even average at economics. Are you familiar with Stalin, Mao, Castro, and Chavez? Every Western country that flirted with socialism regrets it. France, GB, Sweden, Greece, etc. are still suffering from hangover from socialist policies. Argentinians voted for Milei because socialism destroyed their economy. Capitalism has its flaws, but so far it's the best we got. I'm not a religious zealot so if something comes along that is better than capitalism, I'm all for it, but Socialsim is a proven failure.

I not that long ago about all the lies that the capitalists are pushing. The second statement is just objectively false, socialist policies actually improved their economies. you know what country implemened more capitalism: america, a total shithole. south america is also activily suffering from capitalism. The third one is people being tired of conservatism and some crazy dude coming along and screaming things that the elite likes, the elite has never even allowed even a taste of socialism in argentina. and i am familar with all those guys and the crimes. Stalin actively failed at supressing right wing organizations and implemented stupid policies, Mao failed at managing a big country, Castro was the least bad since he allowed cuba to be democratic and chavez supressed the communist party of venezuela and did inflation.

Socialism leads to a concentration of power so that a few political elites control everything. They take control of the means of production and live like kings. Under socialism, the workers get screwed by the new socialist bourgeoisie.
0 ups, 11mo
That is misrepresented. you are saying all socialism will lead to one form of it, which is untrue. look at cuba with one of the best democratic systems, probably somewhat close to switzerland. they start out and are in a lot different material conditions but they are both still very democratic compared to other countries, each in their own way. cuba is a one party system and the consitution is written for it, but the people decide its members through their multipinicipal elections and hold them accountable. switzerland is a multi-party system with direct democracy but a lot less accountablitity then cuba

I live in Illinois. Our town just built a new hospital and a new school. Our police department and our fire department got new buildings and trucks. Our crime rate is lower than it's ever been. And they're working on the roads since Biden passed that infrastructure bill.

Maybe you should move.

I've lived in Texas, Oklahoma, California, Massachusetts and Illinois. Couldn't get out of Texas fast enough. Oklahoma beautiful but you have to be 100% "country" to love it there. Cali? God's country. Massachusetts was unaffordable, period. Illinois is a lot of small towns and very few cities just like every other state in existence.

They're all in debt. They all have corrupt politicians. Taxes and utilities are too high in every state. Your argument makes no sense to me. You're going to pay no matter where you live. Indiana real estate is so high their low taxes mean nothing. I don't see how anybody can afford to live in Cali anymore. I barely made it back in the 90's.

I'm not just arguing money either. I'm saying it's safer for women and you can afford to buy a house here.

Anyone who studies the history of the 20th century understands that socialism/communism/Marxism was a total failure—100 million dead and many more living in oppression and poverty. History & basic economics prove the failures in detail. How can anyone with any education support socialism?
