America is the worst example you can give of leftism rising into power. America is a hypercapitalist dystopia on the verge of fascism, not even remotely socialist. but i bet you call european conservatives socialist because they are more leftist then the average democrat.
The modern progressive is only interested in bringing more rights to opressed groups and not to replace the system or even reform it. While i think its important, its getting to a point where people don't notice issues with the capitalist system. this is what the elite wants
better title: Future historians will not be kind to Joe Biden or Right wing Progressives or to right wing media. Conservative "Liberals" are really dumb to let fascism rise and call itself "conservative"
