As long as you blindly vote Democrat, your carbon footprint is perfect. We can worry about who to depopulate after Globalists gain total control.

I was going to say, "Because nobody can afford to eat in liberal blue states," but your reply was better.

The ten poorest states, by poverty rate, are:

1 Mississippi 18.7%
2 Louisiana 17.8%
3 New Mexico 16.8%
4 West Virginia 15.8%
5 Arkansas 15.2%
6 District of Columbia 15%
7 Alabama 14.9%
8 Kentucky 14.9%
9 Oklahoma 14.3%
10 Georgia 14%
11 South Carolina 13.8%
12 Tennessee 13.6%
13 Texas 13.4%
14 North Carolina 12.9%
15 Arizona 12.8%

Why are southern red states such a sh*thole place to live? Is it because they're run by Republicans?

Only 1 blue state in the top 15 (DC is not a state).

The sad reality is that it's blue govts, particularly at the local level, that have the highest crime rates, and highest murder rates, and probably even the highest poverty rates (keep in mind, it's a cities to states comparison...) which will kill you far more quickly and more certainly than being fat in a poor red state.

False

On the other hand, here's someone in agreement with you:

If you lived in a large Blue American city you would know that they are safe - its only the older poor inner city sections where the crime rates and murder rates are high. Every resident knows to avoid those areas.

Translation - Democrats should never have to see the result of their failed and racist policies that made those poor inner city sections the way they are.

So red states still have higher crime/murder rates even when you exclude the large blue cities! Interesting article.

Yeah.

If every resident know to avoid those areas why are the crime and murder rates so high there?

Help me understand this seemingly contradictory statement

Because crime.
0 ups, 1y,

"Because crime" is why crime is so high in poor inner city areas that everyone who lives there avoids?

It's mathematical. Physics too. For very action there is that action. Oh, and logic. And words mean things.

Oh, blast but not yeast:

Poverty!
0 ups, 1y
If no one is around who does your broke @$$ rob ?

Poverty is not the reason.

Millions of poor people in the united states and the vast majority do not commit crimes.

How do you explain that?

I explain it as there are bad people in society that will commit crimes no matter their socioeconomic status - Hunter Biden for example.

I don't know how they are measuring that because those states also have the lowest cost of living too. I'd like to see it adjusted for cost of living.
2 ups, 1y
It’s based on the national poverty level so people with lower incomes still live better in states with lower cost of living. The national poverty level is skewed by the big blue cities enormous cost of living.

Bwahahahah take a look at the blue cities in Those states. Everyone of those places is markedly safer with less poverty and homelessness than any big blue city.

1 up, 1y,

No typo, The red states are safer and their big blue cities are the source of crime and poverty that skew the numbers of smaller statewide populations.

I actually encountered this looking at houses, there were certain cities that were really bad, but overall the state was really low crime everywhere else.
0 ups, 1y
That is reality. Big blue cities are a disaster and their policies are the primary cause of their degradation.

Excerpts from:

https://www.thirdway.org/report/the-two-decade-red-state-murder-problem

Excccccccccccccept that 'Blue' States have 'Blue' cities too - and a lot more of them - so that negates that excuse.

Besides, cities - especially real ones with populations bigger than what we call "neighbohoods" round here here tend to be Democratic Party governed. It's pretty much a given. It's like saying rain has the curious tendency to come from the sky.

Republicans can't govern cities. They're just not good at it. Otherwise they would be, and patching things up - something they've proved utterly incapablable of doing in the less densely populated areas they oft hold sway, as 'Red' States can attest.
1 up, 1y
One need only look at the decay and destruction of democrat controlled cities and states to see they are the worst, most crime ridden, regulated cesspools ever in this country. The opinion of a leftist rag doesn’t change that. Beg for your slave chains all you want.

One need only look at the plethora of other articles for further verification. Fox is even in there for those seeking their patented artificial partisan hack propaganda.

Try this for the roots which actually go beyond simple poverty, etc:

https://leightonwoodhouse.substack.com/p/black-culture-matters

Anyways, from that and another source I heard a year or so ago, basically, what is derisively call "W**** Trash" in the US are folks descended from a poor rebellious criminal class that originated in the borderlands between England and Scotland brought here as penal colonists back in the day. Many settled in Appalachia going southwards, and have displayed criminal & violent tendencies (esp w/guns) as well as terminal unemployment or lack of upward mobility ever since. Granted, Appalachia is somewhat limited in opportunities, but we still see them burdened by these issues after they later radiated westward in the 1800s and then north in the 1900s.
You can literally trace the lineology of this specific demographic back to those British roots four centuries ago. It isn't just some style picked up by the less ambitious in them states over the years. The culture is so ingrained, it has even theorized by some that these less savory behavior patterns might have a genetic component.

Other people settling in that area (such as the descendents of former slaves) immersed in this culture all this time have also displayed a propensity for such behavior, and when they as well as their Brit-American neighbors migrated to northern cities looking for jobs in the 20th Century, they brought it with them, thus inner cities life subject criminality and lack of aspiration not unlike in the rural South.

Chicago, Detroit, NYC, etc, all recieved a large chunk of this 20th Century mass migration. Hence the cities from South to Midwest to Northeast you citied having similar problems with crime. The difference, as you now know, is that down South high rates are also exhibited in more rural areas, which even when subracted of their cities for stats still show higher per capita rates than average regarding homicide and violent crime. Same with what the FBI still calls "the Wild West," as much of that territory is plagued by a degree of lawlessness again, bought to the area by that demographic.

Just look at Trump rallies and the J6 crowd, they all look like generic what, again? That, and their anger and propensity for violence, isn't exactly accidental.
1 up, 1y
The democrats have run big blue cities for decades and they have not improved anything in any of those cities in regards to crime, opportunity and homelessness. They don’t have the answer and giving drug addicts drugs and allowing crime solves nothing.

So minorities aren’t violent they just just learned it from whites in Appalachia and the South? Bwahahahah racist much. Utter nonsense that the policies of the democrats in big cities has no effect on crime and criminality or violence. When you promote violence you get violence, just look at all the blue cities that burned with the encouragement of democrat politicians on the summer of love.

Blame it on those democrat food stamps.

West Virginia actually lost jobs under Trump BEFORE Covid.
And they'e not alone.

Ever notice how Trumpy & Co constantly talked about record unemployment with poor 'Blacks' and Hispanics, but never poor 'Whites'? That's because that last demographic witnessed a slipping in employment numbers during Trump beginning PRIOR to 2020. If you look at states where they are a large sector (South/Confederate/Bible Belt/Red States'Trump 'Country'), you'll often see the same trends as with WV.
That's right, Trump's base disproportionately LOST jobs during his tenure. Before Covid.

Yes, the whole country is, if you'll pardon the pun, largely fat - your point would be?

Surely you aren't attributing that to señor Trump 😄

Or are you ?

It is caused by our "food" supply. You can't seem to eat enough when you cook up your box of chemicals, sugar, fat, salt, sawdust, soy, and non nutritional gmo plant material you get from the grocery store. So you keep shoveling it in.

Oh, and then, once you've overeaten again, sit on your a$$ watching netflix, making memes, scrolling through social media, and snacking.

The american people are being fattened like livestock by the food industry creating various health problems that are then "managed" by the pharmaceutical industry.

The best part - fat, lethargic, people don't engage in uprisings. They simply don't have the energy. 😄
