Next year will be chaos. As long as Republicans don't screw up badly (which they are entirely capable of doing), they can take the House and Senate in November. By that point, though, it will be too late to stop the coming food shortages caused by this administration from killing hundreds of thousands of people. Since we can coast on last year's produce until then, it will look like Republicans coming into office caused the food shortages. This will amplify our current political division as people on both sides accuse each other of starving hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people. I doubt many people will peacefully accept if their side loses in 2024 based on this. Riots over lack of food will turn into total revolution. I don't know who comes out on top, but it will mot likely turn to a dictatorship either way.
