True, I never thought about sex as a child, i had innocent crushes on celebrities, i had a crush on a girl in my class because her pokemon cards were cool. Nobody ever told me"you're a lesbian, that means you want to have sex with girls"nope. Nobody told me i was hetero when i had a crush on a boy in 2nd grade, they just said "aww youre so cute"

Which begs a couple of questions :

1. If homosexuals are born and not made, why the massive effort to inculcate children into the homosexual lifestyle?

2. Since the effort is being made, apparently not even liberals believe gays are naturally born. Doesn't this necessarily imply gays can be "unmade" as well?

Part of the problem is that you’re viewing this through a strawman.

In other words, you don’t know what liberals are thinking and doing.

It’s been said for years by scientists and those on the left that homosexuality is biological while the right have argued it’s a product of pedophilia grooming.

The truth is; we don’t know. And it may be as complicated as several factors involving nature AND nurture. Recently, it’s been dismissed that there is no single gene that determines homosexuality; but there are several genes that, if shaped a certain way can make it more likely these individuals will be homosexual. But it’s not a guarantee that they will. For a long time, homosexuals had heterosexual marriages and had children. They conformed to societal norms because they thought that would make them happy. And do you know what? Some were; others were not.

The real purpose that liberals are trying to do is teach tolerance, and the right is calling this indoctrination. While it is fair to criticize the methods of the left teaching tolerance; given they’re far from as tolerant themselves, it doesn’t do us any good by trying to make it into something more than that.

The reason they think teaching tolerance to children is so that these homosexuals will not have to conform to the traditional societal norms and risk being unhappy. Naturally, there are fundamentalists who believe that homosexuality is a sin and any teaching of acceptance and tolerance is counter-productive to society. And there may be some truth to that simple mindset; if it isn’t broken then don’t fix it.

But perusing legislation to prevent these people from teaching tolerance is not the right way to go about it, in my opinion as it is counterintuitive to our core constitutional values even if it is for the benefit of traditional values. Which people too often confuse as one and the same. And that is simply not true.

So what the left sees the right doing is being discriminatory. But it would be unwise to simply dismiss anyone who wants to protect their children from indoctrination as bigotry. True, I do think bigots are controlling the narrative for this push to turn parents against teachers but it’s swallowing up moderates by turning this situation black or white.

The truth is; this with teachers isn’t as big an issue as some Republicans are making it out to be. Just like gay marriage isn’t as big an issue. It’s just a political talking point. And it’ll end the same way.

Why do you fear the truth so very much?

You cannot argue counter to it, so you just dismiss it so you don't have to face it. It's painfully obvious at this time nothing on this planet terrifies you as much as the truth.

Good.

yall wanna know something? only groomers get mad at being called a groomer and men cant become women because last I checked you can't change your chromosomes yet.
XX=female
XY=male
you would have to change half of every chromosome set in your body, which is 37.2 trillion cells times 23 because you only have to change 1 of the 2 in a set, and there is 46 total per cell, so the number of chromosomes you would have to change is 855,600,000,000,000 or 855.6 trillion chromosomes.
haha, good luck with that XD

Outside of some vanishingly rare genetic conditions, the vast majority of human beings (more than 99%) have either XX or XY chromosomes- that is the science of GENETICS!

So your proof that I am a science denier... is a perfectly valid, scientific reality?

Wow... you really have cannonballed into the deep end of the stupid pond.

Funny how YOU'RE the one immediately associating "Men can like other men the way they can like women" or "Some people come to realize they might've been born as the wrong gender" with sex. You do realize those two statements I just said reference nothing about sex, don't you? Which is the main reason I'm against the bill because people should know this stuff so they don't grow up to be a bigot. The earlier people learn that there's nothing wrong with something, the most likely they are to accept it. Hell, people try to dodge around saying the word "gay" when my brother tells them he's gay due to the reputation that word had as an insult
9 ups, 2y
Oh?

Then you are against the Alzheimer's Administration changing the Title IX rules so that even gays cannot say the word gay, right?

Because... you know... logical consistency, and all that.

Guess I'm a '"bigot" then, because if "tolerance" means teaching children about things of such a sexual nature, then I wouldn't support teaching it.
3 ups, 2y
😂 Oh really? Because you say so?

I'm not saying that they can't do that, I'm saying (and Gov. DeSantis is saying) that that doesn't need to be taught to young children.

It's literally called the "Parental Rights in Education" Bill. The "Don't Say Gay" is a label, and an inaccurate one at that.

Oh, wait....
3 ups, 2y
They are for killing babies, open borders, high taxes and government overreach. One "gay marriage law" doesn't change that. I'm not against gay marriage. I'm against it being forced onto children. Besides, have you even looked at the bill? You're still allowed to be gay in Florida. What the bill bans is instruction on such matters in PK-3 and limits instruction thereafter.
