They are all for "following the science" unless it challenges their narratives | Ok, maintaining our health by exercising and getting vitamin D from the sunlight has proven to prevent people from dying of covid, there are also many studies that prove that lockdowns don't lower the amount of cases and only cause suffering a lot worse than the virus. We need to follow the science to beat covid! NO! Not that science! | image tagged in soyboy vs yes chad, liberal hypocrisy, tyranny, lockdown, quarantine | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Even Bill Maher admits medical science has become too intertwined with political mainstream media narratives and even compares the liberal media's overblown covid hysteria to the right-wing media's climate change denial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qp3gy_CLXho

I don't see how I'm "whining" when I'm actually addressing legitimate issues.

Here are the studies of such lockdowns:

I don't think you really have ground to say I have a "weak grasp of science" when I actually do follow actual science. I think you are just disgruntled because I don't think the way you want me to.

Fact: Science says that immunity comes with exposure. I've never had a flu shot - and I've only ever had the flu twice. The media is trying to scare you into thinking the vaccine is the best thing for fighting against COVID. It's probably not the worst, but the best would definitely be to build up your immune system by leading a healthy lifestyle. (It's not as easy as just getting a shot, but it has better long-term effects.)

That's YOUR preference. Go ahead and get the vaccine if you wish. I choose not to.
0 ups, 3y
Oh, I did. I'm fully vaccinated and my 13 year old got hers this weekend, so I'm golden. My 8 year old...not sure. Honestly, I'll just let my wife decide. She's better read on medical issues than me.

Vitaman D is something everyone should be taking often. That stuff is amazing.

I agree to both of your comments. I took Vitamin D BEFORE covid and never came close to getting it. Probably because of the lockdowns and everything that Biden did to keep me safe, but yeah, never got it. I did get one of those vaccines that Trump developed using operation warp speed.

The first one yes, but the second one, sorry what studies? Look at New Zealand vs. The USA. That study? No, not that simple study. It's gotta be the obscure ones right? Give a link to them please.

Comparing a much smaller nation like New Zealand to large ones like America and Canada and European countries that share an entire continent is an apples to oranges argument. You are also cherry picking the one example of New Zealand and not looking at many other studies on lockdowns. Here are the links to such studies including studies of lockdowns in Europe:

1) vitiman D does play a role in surviving covid. This is correct.

2) lockdowns don't work. This is not correct.

The studies you link to found that countries that had 1) high obesity rates 2) poor healthcare and 3) did not react to covid by closing the border and restricting travel early had high levels of infection where the lockdown orders did not significantly impact the infection rates BECAUSE IT WAS TOO LATE.

Not Lockdowns Don't Work.

It was Lockdowns Didn't Work Because They Didn't Take It Seriously and Have Shit Healthcare.

Read what they say, not what you want them to say. Deal in actual facts. Act like you've got some sense.

If they are immune they can't spread it. Basic science.
