I know a guy who lives in Canada who originally came from Brazil on a student visa but ended up staying longer than the visa let him, he didn't commit any crimes, he worked at a construction job. He later did get his papers in order with the immigration authorities. Now tell me, if he were in the U.S., would you defend ICE locking him up in a cage and deporting him without due process?
I never called Trump a dictator in the first place, it's true he was never a dictator to begin with because he is an elected president but even though I supported him I wouldn't put it past him to try and make himself president for life if he could and there weren't laws in place such as term limits. Trump even made "Trump 2028" hats. If Obama did such a thing, you'd be screaming "dictator" at him, in fact you were screaming that at him just for existing, you're just as bad as the anti-Trump left.
