Almost all Chinese military hardware is unproven and their planes and ships are already well known to not have firepower nor range capacities of other militaries such as U.S and Russia. U.S has infact the ability to blind them by cutting of satelite communications and neither other country has as extensive VLF communication systems if they could somehow achieve the same knock out cvapabilities of our satelites.
Not to mention that it is calculated that the Chinese militaries troops/ infantry men are between 70 and 85% occupied with keeping the peasants under control in China and many don't even have functioning weapons. A fact that can be seen in their recent border conflicts with India where they, the Chinese were using rocks and lumps of wood to defend themselves. You all should understand that most of the talk of Chinese capabilities is highly exagerated in the same way the Communist USSR claimed things. Most of the time back in the Cold War they were at least 50% overstating their capabilities.

Even if somehow coal and natural gas and oil didn't release any polluting gases, we are still burning them at a much higher rate than our planet is able to provide. If we have an unrenewable source of energy and it runs out. We are predicted to run out of oil by 2052, run out of gas by 2060, and coal by 2090.

I never said we should do something drastic like the green new deal. It should be a slow enough change to keep our economy intact, but fast enough so we are fully transitioned by the time we start running out. That way we keep a strong economy while not having to worry about future crashes due to the total loss of electricity
