I agree... Not peaceful.

But also obviously not a BLM/George Floyd protest.

How does that refute OP's point? That wasn't peaceful.

Seriously...? Brooo..
If their entire point was to point out that 4 idiots randomly bombing a cop a year ago "Isn't peaceful" I should make a Natalie Portman clapping meme to applaud their efforts.

No, the point was to show Cuomo is an idiot. He never claimed that was caught up in current events.

How does it show Cuomo is an idiot??

Cuomo's idiotic question in the OP meme is specifically regarding protests.

And not only was this not a current protest...... but it also wasn't even a protest!!! It wasn't even adjacent to a protest!! It was a group of dudes throwing a bomb at a cop. So how tf is this meme relevant here?

Beyond that, I was unable to find even a mouse turd of evidence regarding the suspect's political affiliation...and yet somehow who_am_i seems to know that they're leftists.

Idk.. feel free to prove me wrong.

Seems like a protest to me. How many people have to be involved before it's a protest? What's the exact number needed?

(psst, I don't entirely disagree with your point)
0 ups, 4y
What?!

Ok in order to try and prevent you from possibly using the Chris Cuomo defense on me, I'm going to say 6... 6 people minimum are necessary for a protest.

Typical BlueBunny trolling, due to inability to think on his own (i.e. he needs MSNBC to tell him what he thinks...)

Safe to ignore!

It's funny when people who don't believe the Bible but will tell Christians how they aren't following the Bible, same applies to liberals telling Americans about the Constitution.

They are also taking advantage of their constitutional right to carry arms (concealed handguns, clubs, baseball bats, Molotov cocktails, etc. :-)
12 ups, 4y,

Carrying them is one thing. Using them against innocent people and their property is NOT a constitutional right.

No, the constitution protects self defense.

Self-defense doesn't apply if you're underage illegally possessing a firearm, illegally out after curfew, seen brandishing your weapon at medics and other random people.
1 up, 4y
Actually self defense applies all the time. He may be charged with illegally possessing a firearm but that does not remove his right to protect his life. You'll find out soon enough when this goes to court.

I wonder what these brats would say if their wet dream became reality and they'd have to live in their socialist "Utopia". I bet you they'd whine even more than they do now.

it is, Empire definition: an extensive group of states or countries under a single supreme authority, formerly especially an emperor or empress.

We may not have an emperor, but we have a president instead. Same shiat.

Old news, old chap. Knee cop followed procedures. In a DEMOCRAT city. Hahaha, intentional murder? He's gonna walk. Even court tv NOW admits that.

Chavin certainly did not follow procedures, which is why he was fired and criminally charged rapidly. Other police departments have weighed in and offered the same conclusions.

Only thing to be determined is his exact level of criminal guilt.

We'll see. If his case does get dismissed on this spurious "overdose" argument his attorneys are now making, or for some other reason, it will be additional evidence of how difficult it is to bring officers to justice when they kill even when there's blatant evidence.
2 ups, 4y,

Oh, yes, he certainly did. Check my link. He's going to win a big lawsuit. Guess what, if you subdue a junkie that's dying, because he had over a 3 times lethal dose of fentanyl, and had both artery's over 75% blocked, and you die of a heart attack cuz stress, the cop ain't liable for intentional murder, you sad Kyliecuck.
2 ups, 4y
Ah yes: A big lawsuit for wrongful termination, just like Trump is going to win all those big libel lawsuits against the New York Times for reporting the news accurately.

Wake me up when they do

Seriously, the second autopsy commissioned said that George Floyd's death was "asphyxia due to compression of the neck".

https://knsiradio.com/news/local-news/expert-drug-toxicity-had-no-bearing-george-floyds-cause-death

also, how do you know that he had 3 times the lethal dose of fentanyl? I can't find sources regarding that.
0 ups, 4y,

The second autopsy was commissioned by the family. Disregarded.

Look up the autopsy. Regular users can have a higher than usual amount that would kill a novice but 3x is pretty excessive. The stress he was under worried about going back to prison plus his OD finished him off. Too bad he didn't get in the car and not resist. His death wouldn't have been so viral then the footage we saw.

Looked at the autopsy, only found that the amount of fentanyl in his system was 11ng/ml. However, I still can't find the lethal amount of fentanyl online. Can you provide me with any sources about that?

And yet: George Floyd did not get a trial either

And he never will. Why not? He’s dead, chief

So what basis do Righties have for rendering these judgments either?

Autopsy shows no neck bruising. The IF is your assumption that the knee had anything to do with his OD death. That was an allowed procedure in a democrat run city.
2 ups, 4y
We already went over the fact this procedure wasn’t allowed: He was fired. Other PDs also explained why.

If someone dies after being put in a 9 minute chokehold before the paramedics even got there, strong presumption the chokehold has something to do with it.

Might the drugs have played a role too? Sure. A pre-existing condition that made him more fragile.

All of that underscores why following correct arrest procedure in every case is necessary. Cops aren’t doctors and don’t know what they’re dealing with in any random encounter with a citizen.

There were 4 officers on the scene. He was already in handcuffs. Unarmed. Yeah there was a scrimmage, but they didn’t have to do this.
0 ups, 4y
Yes, cops aren't doctors. Exactly. And they probably hear excuse after excuse while arresting people. Had the big guy got in the car, he may have avoided the stress that added to his OD, though I doubt it. Go watch the link I posted to see why cops are instructed to keep druggies subdued even when not currently fighting them. Of course had he taken his knee off and Fentanyl Floyd had thrashed around and hurt himself, you'd be crying about how he should have been restrained longer.
