Cubans 'pouring into US'? Compared to the 7-20 million undocumented Mexican and Latin Americans who've flooded into the US? And no, they don't all vote Republican, but fewer of them go straight for the safety net when they get here.

Actually they do.

Cubans (like Koreans, Russians, and some other countries, mainly Communist related) get 18 months free rent, food, meds, and other benefits, grants to start businesses, etc.

The Federal Gov't has invested more money in the little over 2 million Cubans in the US that in all the rest of 56.5 million Hispanics in the US combined.

They had to wait a year and pay 800 dollars to get full citizenship but yes it was basically handed to them.

How is it not extremist? Without borders there is no sovereignty, no shared culture, nothing that has made the west the greatest thing to happen to the world.

Technically there is shared culture by letting immigrants in..

And nobody is trying to stop immigrants from getting in legally.

Controling borders but s not the same as closing them. So yes, the only options are open borders or controling them. We can tweak the ways in which we control them, but we either control them, or we don't.

If the immigration laws we have don't work? How will more?

No one is suggesting more imigration laws (that's a straw man arguement).
First, let's actually enforce the laws we have. Then maybe we can tweak them, and tweaking can actually involve fewer laws, but more actual enforcement.
