That's not the point. The point is, if one or both of them turned up in the Epstein files, the left would probably still side with them just to oppose Trump (and let's be real, power hungry dictators like them probably don't draw the line at anything in the Epstein files).
If Trump is anti illegal immigration, they start arguing borders shouldn't exist. If Trump wants to purchase Greenland, they suddenly remember borders should exist. If Putin (someone they associate with Trump even though he walked all over Biden way more than with Trump) invades Ukraine, country boundaries matter and we should pity ukrainians and send all our money and resources to them. If Hamas bludgeons Israeli women and children unexpectedly on a Jewish holiday, crossing the border and committing acts of terror isn't that big of a deal, and certainly doesn't warrant retaliation. If Trump has no wars in his first term, they don't care. If Trump nukes Iran, suddenly they're against any attack and it's a distraction from the Epstein files.
Speaking of the Epstein files, if the Dems have them for 4 years and don't disclose them, there's no problem. If Trump promises to release them, they don't care, and they certainly don't connect the dots when the whole elite system and the industry panics and campaigns for the opposition in response to that. They run studies talking about how "p*do" is a marginalizing term and we should start calling them MAPs (minor attracted people) and stop discriminating against them. Then, if Trump doesn't release the Epstein files immediately, he's a pedophile, and the whole Republican party is full of pedophiles and suddenly the left is against pedophilia again.
