End the nonsense

End the nonsense | How to deal with the unconstitutional decision by this Supreme Court to leave an insurrectionist on the ballot:; Go to Section 3 of the 14th Amendment which states that Congress has the authority to allow an insurrectionist on the ballot. When it fails to get the necessary 2/3 vote, Congress will have officially spoken on the issue. Democrats in the Senate should bring forth a vote on allowing the candidacy of oath-breaking insurrectionist Donald J. Trump. | image tagged in supreme court 2023,constitution | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Unconstitutional Ruling

Unconstitutional Ruling | Exceeded their authority when they left insurrectionist Trump on the ballot. Amendment XIV
Section 3; No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability. Note the last sentence in section 3: "But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability."; Not the Supreme Court's approval, but Congress's approval is required to allow an insurrectionist on the ballot. Not a simple majority but a two-thirds majority requirement. | image tagged in supreme court 2023,constitution,melanie marcus | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Supreme Conflict

Supreme Conflict | Amendment XIV
Section 3; No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any state legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any state, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability. Voted 9-0 to allow an adjudicated oath-breaking insurrectionist on the ballot. They also took an oath to the Constitution. Sounds like giving aid or comfort to insurrectionists. | image tagged in constitution, supreme court 2023,melanie marcus, politics | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
