Article II
Section 4; The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors. Article VI requires Representatives and Senators be bound by oath to the Constitution. Given a choice between upholding that oath or forsaking it as a sacrifice to their false god, the Republican Party will choose the latter not the former.
