oh damn this is actually interesting asf cus nothing you're saying is incorrect. even without my belief in god one thing that's always contradicted my beliefs is the fact there's anything in the universe at all. if the universe is stuck in a cycle of exploding and compressing where did any of this matter come from. it couldn't of always been there and it didn't just appear. realistically there shouldn't be anything in the universe at all. it should be an empty void and the only explanation I can think of is either being in a simulation or some sort of creator.

No, actually, he's parroting nonsense. If you visit a decent enough science museum, they have lovely displays of the fossil record showing change over time. Given the nature of the fossil record, not finding all the links in the chain is a given. Where his science-denialist books are getting it wrong is asserting that the lack of some pieces disproves the whole thing.

Actually, due to the way evolution works in real time, people have observed evolutionary shifts within their lifetimes. A fascinating example: https://theconversation.com/natural-selection-in-black-and-white-how-industrial-pollution-changed-moths-43061

Read the article at icr.org/article/what-about-horse-series to learn the truth about the horse series.
0 ups, 1d
I could as easily read the writings of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada on this. Your "Creation Researcher" is doing the classic move of noticing that the data we have is complicated and that horse evolution is different from many other groups because there are very few surviving descendants to falsely conclude that this invalidates the whole concept of evolution, rather than being a weird, non-reprentative version of the thing.

To spell it out, the writers of textbooks took an overly simple example, and that led to the misconception that the cartoon sketch ladder of horses was how evolution worked. (Sidebar, this is what happens in math classes when the first grade teacher says, "You CAN'T subtract a bigger number from a smaller number," ignoring the existence of negative numbers. Some of the students go on to think that this simplified idea is the whole thing, and 5 years later their 6th grade teacher has to do backflips to get them to understand integers.)

Read this.

So how do you get around 2 facts.
1. Apes and lower hominids have a different number of Chromosomes than humans. That means we can't interbreed.
2. Like most animals apes destroy mutated offspring. Any animal behaviorist can explain that to you.
In other words even IF an ape or lower hominid gave birth to a mutant that was human and even IF he survived to adulthood then what?
He can't procreate with apes or lower hominids. Different number of chromosomes remember?
Did he f**k himself and give birth?
When Darwin came up with his theories DNA and Chromosomes were unknown. Well, we know now. But some people refuse to give it up.
You have 2 viable options - creationism or Ancient Aliens tampering with hominid DNA (which would explain the junk DNA in us no different than canine DNA).
But Darwinism is no longer a viable theory.
2 ups, 3d,
2 replies
You are assuming that we think an ape just suddenly shit out a neanderthal 6 million years ago. That is not how the theory of evolution (which has changed much since Darwin) works. The common ancestors of great apes and humans had children who had to become better in some way. The ones that ended up being the ancestors of apes were slightly stronger than their parents, and the ones that ended up being the ancestors of humans were slightly smarter. Rinse and repeat for a really long time and you get primitive apes and primitive humans. As for your other point, Google "when did we lose a pair of chromosomes in humans"
1 up, 1d
Sorry no, at some point they had to change chromosomes at which point you would need at least 3 males and 14 females to have the exact same mutation from different family lines. Evolution is filled with these massive jumps that are just not possible.

We saw them evolve to a changing environment in real time. In the Industrial Revolution, soot colored the white trees black in the regions where they lived. The paler ones (which there were more of because the trees were paler) were eaten by birds more often because their original coloring now failed them. Meanwhile, pepper moths that were darker survived more, and had darker offspring. Then, when environmental standards were put in place and the soot cleared, the darker ones were easier to spot and got eaten more, while the lighter ones sprang back.

REDO:

No.

At a time where 45 was considered old, but everybody in the Bible lived for five centuries or so (some guy here said 900), no, that is not a number that can be added up to.

72 from Adam to Jesus? Compiled nearly a century later? Compiled allegedly by a Gentile who never met Jesus? Oh, who was an associate of the Antichrist so Paul? Sure, okay sounds legit.

There are civilizations that are older than 6,000 years. They are living trees that are older than 6,000 years. Perhaps during breaks between classes you can endeavor to look some of this stuff up.

We have carbon-dated that shit to hundreds of millions of years ago. There were no humans back then, which were the reason why god made the flood in the first place
2 ups, 2d,
1 reply
The half life of carbon-14 is too short for anything to be carbon-dated as millions of years old.

Carbon-14 has been detected inside diamonds supposedly billions of years old.

Cosmic rays turn nitrogen into carbon-14. The earth's magnetic field shields the earth from cosmic rays.

Because the earth's field is decaying (icr.org/article/earths-magnetic-field-young), the earth's magnetic field used to be stronger, which caused fewer cosmic rays to turn nitrogen into carbon-14, which caused there to not be as much carbon-14 in the biosphere, which contributed to inflating carbon dates.

There was also more carbon-12 in the pre-flood biosphere, which caused the carbon-14 to be more dilute, which further inflated carbon dates beyond the age of the world. The genealogies in the bible were used to correctly calculate the age of the world as about six thousand years.

It was proven at creation.com/en/articles/from-the-beginning that there were humans at the beginning of creation.

The Earth formed after a particularly large piece of rock from when the solar nebula collapsed into a disk around the sun became large enough to stop accreting material and start gravitating it. Then it gained a little bit of mass from a collision with another body that was similar in size to mars. The rest of it became the moon or got ejected to who knows where. As for your second request, the missing links probably didn't even get fossilized, as it is quite difficult to have something fossilized to be dug up in the first place. first of all people get bullied and called bad words all the time does make them depressed. second not as many transgenders are harassed as you think. name one time you've seen a trangender person get publicly name called and harassed. never? I see them working in stores all the time working with people no one blinks an eye.

I see them get called names all the time when I go places, specifically outside the city. It sucks seeing my friends get called that.

you wanna blame their depression on other people fine. but do some research. being trans means you are technically kind of messed up in the head cud your brain should be programmed to their gender but its not. if the programs messed up there's bound to be other issues and imbalances like depression and disorder
