Nah, Obama said it was discrimination to tell them they have dysphoria. Trumps reversed that. Suddenly it drops.

Who's Erin Reed? Sounds like she has an axe to grind. Always watch out for articles with a whole lot of editorializing. Like how she called Eric Kaufman "far right". Is he? I don't know. Most professors these days are far left, and that is not an editorialization, that is just a fact.

It would trust her rebuttal because it's too one sided.

Find someone who doesn't have to embellish their "facts".

So calling somebody far right is editorializing, but calling somebody far left is just saying a fact?

Yup. Libertarians and Anarcho-capitalists are far right. The Democrat party is far left because they just can't stop going in that direction.

I just saw a really good movie last night called Truth and Treason. It is about some kids who were typing leaflets and posting them around town Germany in 1942 calling Hitler evil. It was based on a true story. The kid was 17 and he was the youngest person ever executed by guillotine in Germany.

It gave you a very good idea of what it is like to live under a socialist dictatorship. That movie made me take another step to the right. I want absolutely nothing to do with socialism of any kind. It is pure evil.

Nazi Germany was far, far right. They put the word "socialist" in the name to attract people to the party. They kept their true goals and ideals secret for a while, but they absolutely loathed communists and socialists. If you don't believe me, do some reading about them.
0 ups, 3w
Oh, is that the excuse the socialists are making. And I have done a lot of reading. Stick to the original sources because socialists have been trying to distance themselves from Nazis since Hitler invaded Poland

You do that the Nazis posted their political platform every year up to Hitler became chancellor. It's plain old socialism. There's no denying that.

Nothing Hitler ever did was far, far right.

Seriously, what kind of government are you expecting to get when to take private property rights away? If you're expecting that pie-in-the-sky utopia that you've been promised, ya just ain't gonna get it.

Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, Mussolini, Pol Pot, Mao, Castro, Chavez, the Kim dynasty in North Korea are ALL socialist government leaders. You can get hung up on minor differences but the foundations are all identical.

Take away all political power from the individual and you will ALWAYS get authoritarianism and statism. Because their are always narcissistic sociopaths who are attracted to power. When you concentrate that power in to the government they come flying in like moths to a flame.

Too inconvenient of a truth for ya?

The truth is just the truth. Convenience is irrelevant. The fact is Communism, Fascism and Nazism are all socialist. If that bothers you then you need to re-examine your own life and see how close your ideology is to Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini. If you find yourself agreeing far too much with their ideology then you'll know you're on the wrong road.

If you think we need more freedom and not less and you understand that with more freedom then there will be people who say and do things you don't like then you're on the right road.

Yes that means putting up with Nazis, just like everyone who is on the right has to do. The left has far more in common with the Nazis than the right ever did. But we put up with you because it's a free country. But we will fight tooth and nail to keep your Nazi-like policies out of our government because that takes everyone's freedom away.

I almost feel bad for you. All neo-Nazis in America support Republicans over Democrats (since 1964). And Nazi Germany as well as communist countries were/are authoritarian. Socialism is separate, and includes things like public libraries, social security, public schools, etc. Again, Hitler hated socialism, and he's still misleading people by having that word in the name of his party.

Oh my goodness you have been so mislead. Yes, socialism does include public libraries, social security, public schools, etc. But so does our Constitutional Republic (except for Social Security because that didn't come around until Franklin Roosevelt).

Lots of government types support that.

BUT!!!!!!! What you do not understand is that socialism is just as authoritarian as communism, Nazism, and fascism. Karl Marx built his theory of government which he called communism entirely on socialism. In fact all he really did was codify it, he defined in written terms.

Socialism has been around for a lot longer than Marx. Socialism was what replaced the Monarch in the French Revolution. And it did so by a blood bath. First the socialists killed the royalty and everyone associated with it. Then they went after the rich and slaughtered all of them. Then they started going after anyone who had a penny more than they did.

Socialism demands that there are no rights other than what the state gives you. The most important right for liberty is private property rights. Property does not just mean land, it means all of your other possessions, and most importantly it means your life and the lives of your family. All of that is owned by the collective and the state controls the collective.

I do feel bad for you that you think socialism is benevolent. And that you are in denial that communism, nazism and fascism are not just different versions of socialism.

If you are an American citizen and you think socialism is such a wonderful idea then please, please, please never ever vote in this country again. You are voting entirely against freedom. You're voting against everything that made this nation great.

If you think the freedom you have now is normal, you are very sadly mistaken. Only 5% of the worlds population since the beginning of mankind has known any kind of freedom. The other 95% of all of mankind has been slaves to a monarch or a dictator.

Freedom is precious and must be defended at all times otherwise we revert back to the tyranny that has plagued mankind since the beginning. Socialism IS tyranny. You have no control over your life. It is a gateway to communism because when the voluntary push to get everyone to produce fails (and it always fails) then the push comes by force. When it is forced labor then there is no freedom.

Socialism is NOT what they have in the Scandinavian nations.

I never said that I AM a socialist, just that some socialist elements, like in the U.S. and Scandinavian countries, are good things in capitalist economies. It's not 100% bad. But my original argument on here is not an opinion, that the Nazis were absolutely NOT socialists.
0 ups, 3w
Nothing good comes out of socialism, either in part or whole. Absolutely nothing.

Why? Because the government can never be trusted to do things right. Every social policy causes a bigger drain on the economy than any alleged benefit a social program gives us. You may think a social program is necessary, and their may be a need, but the government always costs 2+ times more than if it was done in the private sector.

Which is weird bc they get bullied instead

I had an extremely strong belief that much of the trans movement was a fad. It was something for middle school, high school and college kids to do to get attention.

Then this leaves the remaining as those with actual gender dysphoria and the straggling fee kids who didn't get the memo that the fad is over.

I hope that means that the left know what women are again. And that men cannot get pregnant.

Now how are those politicians who were 100% behind this insanity going to explain themselves come election time. The Democrats really put themselves in an extremely bad position.

If somebody is not transgender, they wouldn't say they are just to get attention because transgender people face a lot of bullying and harassment and the people on this website prove it every day.
0 ups, 4w
Back when I was in high school they would have gotten bullied. But it's very different today. Kids think gender fluidity is cool these days.
