I understand that's the theory, but trees are quite capable of converting and quite happy to convert the excess CO2 back into oxygen, and there earth is getting greener. As for the measurements that keep supposedly confirming that global warming is real, many of the thermometers being used are in places that have been built up over time, so we're comparing apples to oranges. Also, notice how the term of art is no longer "global warming" but is "climate change"? That's because even the fully-manipulated data still does not indicate an increase in average global temperature.
A theory that fits the data better is that powerful interest groups with government cronies and the WEF don't want us to drive our cars or eat cows, so they came up with a theory about climate change that is superficially plausible but is not in fact observed or even falsifiable and then cram down a bunch of regulations based on it
