And the entity running the Santa Monica Housing Retention service, People Concern, has a history of not accounting for all funds received both in their housing retention services and their homeless shelter Samoshell. Although when it was caught around 2020-2021, the city through the Audit Subcommittee told the People Concern to just put whatever was applicable, in my opinion meaning they could use homeless services more than once to account for different grant funding.
So I n California fraud is alive and well.
