I started blocking anyone with disabled comment. They don’t really want to engage in points of views only theirs. Kudos to all the right center left and others whom comment. It is what makes imgflip politics great.

A lot of the Left members don't allow comments because of the insults and harassing comments they get. Flagging those comments hardly ever works, so instead it's just easier to disable comments.

Many users on politics and Real_Politics are paid trolls, who'll disappear after the election. I saw that happen after the 2020 election. If you look at a meme from November 2020, you'll see dozens of comments where the user shows [deleted]. Those are from all the troll accounts that were deleted after the election. These fools think the troll farms will keep them employed after November 2024.
