Might I suggest a possible reason why right leaning memes reach the top of “Hot Topic” and seemingly more prevalent.

The right tend to get the most attention. Up votes and comments (good or bad) not all but many take realistic view of the state of affairs.

The left tends to shit post memes. Trump is this , Trump is that. Fascist MAGA, Republicans hate kids. Nazi Nazi Nazi.

A few likes and maybe a comment or two. A few right leaning members making fun of tired old stupid talking points.
