The Communists don't care you caught them in a lie. They have another lie to explain.

Have you heard your refrigerator and washing machine are on their list next?

Really? Insane. The left started to show its true authoritarian colors after Trump was elected. COVID only made it worse.

Yes really. Where I live they've been trying to get everyone out of their cars and to use public transportation for years. Even going as far as limiting parking for new buildings. It's all about images, at least where I live.

Same here on the left coast in the Peoples' Republik of Taxifornia, SF block. Four lane roads are being turned into two lane roads with wide bike lanes and a middle turn lane for long stretches when there are no streets to turn on to.

Of course this results in long, long lines of traffic even during non-rush hour times. The leftards are too dim to realize that all those cars slogging their way thru a single lane on either side burns way more gas than if they had just left them as four lane roads.

Typical of leftists. They think their intentions are good, but they're too stupid to realize that in practice they are just making the situation they're trying to improve, way worse.

Wow Octavia, I see this right after I compliment your meme. Oh, the irony...

Come on now, Octavia. I gave a perfectly good example of how misguided leftard practices backfire when applied in the real world, and all you can come up with is a 4th grade reply of "well, you're one too"?

And to think there have been times when I thought you were better than that. Shame on me.

Do you think Libertarians are rightists?

I can give example too, if you want

"Do you think Libertarians are rightists?"

Some lean right, some lean left

"I can give example too, if you want"

What I want or don't want is irrelevant, or should be from your point of view. What you should care about (yes, just my opinion) is sounding like you're reasoning is better than a 4th grader's, by not replying with a 'you're one too' type of comment.

Okay, I'll take another swing at the Libertarian question... philosophically, do you think Libertarians, if they adhere to party policy, are rightists?

They are talking about new installations not existing gas stoves. Still, it's smoke and mirrors. Gas stoves are small potatoes. Generating electricity and transportation (the entire sector, of which personal vehicles account for only about 60%) are the two largest contributors to climate change. But their efforts to make clean electricity that they can overcharge us for must have stalled like the BS electric car initiatives.

Sure, perhaps it's new installations only, until perhaps your old one has to be replaced in a few years. The fact that Democrats would do this at all - merely months after claiming it was all just a "desperate MAGA narrative" - shows how completely gaslighting the left's narrative is.

Notice how we never hear the left seeking to do something like, say, ban private jet travel. Shouldn't this have been done by now if CO2 emissions were that serious? I think we all know, however, that this won't happen because it would mean our rulers would have to "suffer".

So that's kind of my litmus test to know whether they're serious about climate change - whether they're willing to ban private jet travel.
2 ups, 2y
Hey, that's a great point. Tbh, I hadn't considered that. Of course if my home warranty company has anything to do with it, the stove won't be replaced until the cinders of the earth disintegrate beneath it. They'll just keep putting band aids on the old one.

And you're right, they want ban guns and gas stoves but not jets and EV's.

Are you familiar with the concept of "cognitive dissonance"?

"cognitive dissonance"? Sure, the progressive platform was founded on it. Variations include gaslighting, doublethink, hypocrisy, and good, old-fashioned lying.

My bad. I didn't realize you were being sarcastic in your previous post. Makes more sense now.

So what exactly changed over the past three months to make them "realize" that climate change was the "bigger problem"? Are you trying to argue that in February of this year, Democrats didn't think climate change was a "big problem", but had an epiphany at some point in March or April?

Your claim is not supported by evidence.

Who got convicted of rape?
0 ups, 2y
No your intelligence is to low. Trump was found not guilty of rape and astonishingly guilty of defamation for saying he didn’t. This will likely be overturned on appeal.
