Bull, the idea presidents don’t play any part in economic policy that impacts citizens is a lie.
2 ups, 2y,

I never said they don't. But if you want to know why this is all going on... that is the major contributing factor.

Hell, before people wouldn't even admit there was a Pandemic because they thought it would hurt Trump's economy. And they were right! Not that the pandemic wasn't real, but that it did. It's apropos to try to use it against Biden but it's not based in any real criticism.

I think Bidens energy policy had a huge impact and we have seen the results prior to the Ukrainian invasion. Dismissing his energy policy is like saying oil production has nothing to do with the price of oil. That’s not reality. His energy policy has caused price increases over and above any other impacts.

The problem is that gas prices are rising globally so this is more than just a matter of national policy.

This I would agree but Trump was only doing so at the expense of our farmers. So…. not a fan of his trade war despite his good intentions.
2 ups, 2y
Sure. I'll take that. Always nice when people are able to state a believable, genuine stance. I disagree about the farmers, but hey, we both said what we think and that's cool.

Extreme ownership - Jocko Willink.

Read this.

A good leader takes ownership of EVERYTHING.
A good leader gives credit to their subordinates for successes.
A good leader takes full credit for their failures, and uses this to figure out how to improve their team going forwards.

Biden/Corn Pop…. takes credit for other’s successes and blames everyone else for his problems. That, by definition, is a horrible leader.

Biden is not a leader but a representative.

And I’m criticizing people’s perceptions that his actions have had the immediate and direct results they are complaining about.

These are not real complaints if they are about the effects but not the actual actions of the President.

You could have left that at Biden not a leader.

He did none of those things. The pandemic, which didn't even start while he was president, is winding down. We're not in a depression. There are not lines of people circled around the block waiting for gas. The only thing that might be remotely true is the inflation one. Also, Biden is not responsible for one country invading another country.

We went to Energy Independence under Trump, to #BidenBodyBags Biden's Green New Deal, Pay Putin 60 million of our green money a day to stuff Ukrainians in #BidenBodyBags Sad but those are the facts!!
1 up, 2y
Welll, if you display weakness, others will act accordingly. Watch Planet Earth or something, it is innate in living beings.

So, the Afghanistan debacle beautifully illustrated Corn Pop’s leadership skills to the world, removing any fear of substantial retaliation from the US in Putin’s evil Bond villain mind… hence his time to shine.

And likely Xi shortly too. Fingers crossed I’m wrong. China is a far bigger, deep rooted problem for another discussion.

Liberals are nothing but stupid corporate bootlickers but, COVID started in 2019 and had it's first cases in America about 10 months before Biden became president.

April 17, 2020

On Thursday President Trump unveiled his plan to open up American again - a plan that has strong support across the country. And while there are glimmers of hope that a number of the states will soon be reopening for business, many Democrat leaders are balking.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio even suggested during a Fox News Channel interview with Bill Hemmer that the Big Apple may not reopen until September.

Yes.. indeed it is.... LMAO

once again, tRump had to open up the US because he shut it down. "States had to have 14 days of positivity rates dropping before tRump would allow the state to open up. " Nice try, though.

uh huh...Bracing the nation for a grim death toll, President Donald Trump on Sunday extended the voluntary national shutdown for a month, bowing to public health experts who told him the coronavirus pandemic could claim over 100,000 lives in the U.S., perhaps significantly more, if not enough is done to fight it.

English is but my 3rd language, no it is not my strong suit, but common sense is, what is your excuse for lacking that?
0 ups, 2y
guess only knowing one language is preventing you from having common sense uh?
0 ups, 2y,

you still missed the fact that President can't do the shut downs, it is the governors, and near the end of his term Trump said this was a state governor level issue and left it at that, which was used by Biden's campaign claiming he had a plan, which was a lie, he did not have a plan, and just recently Biden echoed what Trump had said 2 years ago, which was that it is something that is handled ad state governor level. That is why crappy democrat states remained shut down, why republican states states stayed open. This is also why so many people escaped democrat states, like California and New York, and moved to republican states like Texas and Tennessee. But go ahead ignore ALL of what I just said and give me a huge BUT TRUUUMP response.

Here's the viewpoint of a Republican governor: Explain. LOL.

DeSantis says he disagreed with Trump's decision to shut down economy at start of pandemic from The Hill 1/15/2022.

I'll be waiting patiently...

English isn't your strong suit I"m guessing.

"Bracing the nation for a grim death toll, President Donald Trump on Sunday extended the voluntary national shutdown for a month" Governors whether Dem or Rep then based their decisions on tRump's statements. Sorry that facts interfere with your narrative.
