A lot of people think that only the unvaccinated are likely to get covid however the Canadian Province of Ontario is over 75% fully vaccinated and they are having a high resurgence of covid cases. According to this recent report from Global News: https://www.google.com/amp/s/globalnews.ca/news/8465326/ontario-covid-cases-december-21-coronavirus/amp/

3,453 new cases were recorded, the data showed 673 were unvaccinated people, 132 were partially vaccinated people, 2,500 were fully vaccinated people and for 148 people the vaccination status was unknown. So cases in the fully vaccinated are actually higher than the unvaccinated.

In short, even if it were safe, it's still no more than a glorified pre-meditated "treatment".
Not sure if you've seen my informative meme regarding the topic, but the so-called vaccines are terrible for your immune system. It weakens it, thus creating issues when battling other viruses and diseases.

That's the difference between real vaccines and stuff that palliates the symptoms of the virus. At best these vaccines are only to palliate the symptoms.

And frankly, it's debatable whether they lessen the symptoms. It's entirely possible they make subjects much MORE vulnerable to later iterations of the virus.

I know someone who got COVID before and after being vaccinated. They swear the second time around was less severe because they got the Pfizer vaxx. I tried my best to convince them that is what the body does after getting hit by a virus... But they are too far brain washed and think they survived the second time because of a jab.... Even though they survived it the first time without a jab.

What's funny is suddenly everyone is a 100% accurate predictor of FUTURE events.

e.g. I didn't get as sick as I would have

How could you possibly know that? On what time-traveling evidence do you base that conclusion?

One may wish, hope and dream that conclusion, but in reality you are powering that delusion with unicorn farts and leprechaun tears.

What we DO KNOW by real-world evidence is your alleged "vaccine" did not, does not and never will work at preventing infection or re-infection, so you have precisely zero business telling me I should take it.

Also, FOLLOW THE MONEY. If someone tells you to follow the science, FOLLOW THE MONEY.

Have you seen the Joe Rogan podcast with Dr. Peter A. McCullough? The doctor says it's not possible to get Covid more than once. He was pretty adamant about it. He says someone who claims to have covid twice likely had something else and just had a false positive because of the way in which they misuse the PCR tests by overcycling them to the point where the data isn't reliable thus creating false positives. https://open.spotify.com/episode/0aZte37vtFTkYT7b0b04Qz?fbclid=IwAR2V_XU7C3UwE0jfAZ_gOmKaSJiD4jG9GtOn7dIIYJxwq9v_2fjfOk0lHK8#login

Aren’t vaccines meant to prevent you from getting something?

Yes, yes they are...but this one doesn't. Only reduces...if that. One of my closest family mentors almost died of that junk, and was fully vaccinated.

Very same experience for me.
0 ups, 2y
They're supposed to prevent you from being affected PERIOD. The body uses a weakened/inactive version of the virus(the vaccine) to 'train' the immune system to properly fight against a virus to the point symptoms shouldn't even be shown when the 'real virus' tries to infect the body.
0 ups, 2y
“Something” is the variant of the virus. The vaccines were created for the Alpha version of SARS-CoV-2. While they can prevent you from being infected by other variants, such as Delta and Omicron, they are not specifically for them. It’s the same reason we have new vaccines every year for the flu.

if COVID tests are required for certain events, every person should be tested no matter their vaccination status, because everyone can catch it and spread it.

It really pisses me off how people blame the unvaccinated for the spread of the virus, as if the virus only infects the unvaccinated and the vaccine makes one invincible to the virus and anyone who isn't vaccinated is automatically "disease ridden" and is gonna die. I keep trying to tell people the fact that the vaccine doesn't prevent one from getting covid and one can still unknowingly carry the virus whether they are vaccinated or not, they are so dense and refuse the believe me and they prefer to live under the delusion that they already believe about the vaccines.
2 ups, 2y
on a psychological level, it's similar to the toilet-paper hysteria last year, where people FEEL safe if they have something, even though they might admit it doesn't actually make them safer.
1 up, 2y
Which means "vaccinated" individuals are more likely to spread the virus if contagious. They would present little symptoms and be more inclined to brush it off as the common cold or a sinus infection, all the while spreading germs to all around. Responsible un"vaxxed" individuals are less likely to spread the disease than those with inflated carelessness due to having been "vaccinated".

No, I don't wanna die. That's why I take care of my health so I don't die from covid and I don't die of an adverse reaction from the vaccine.
1 up, 2y,

There are no people dying from the Covid vaccine. The only common reaction is 5.5 cases of anaphylaxis per million doses. That is about 5x more than with other vaccines, but still a tiny number. I’m not allergic to anything. So I had nothing to worry about when I got the shot. You still run the risk of getting anaphylaxis with all vaccines at a rate of 1 to 1.5 cases per million. Deaths are so rare from all vaccines, that the death rate is too low to even be clinically significant. I did some work involving vaccines for a few years. These fears are fake news.
1 up, 2y,

Adverse reactions aren't "fake news" they are legitimate concerns for our health. Just because adverse reactions don't happen to some doesn't mean it doesn't happen to others. I am not at all opposed to people getting the vaccine but side effects are a legit issue. People are unfortunately inclined to ignore those who suffered from adverse reactions because it doesn't suit what they like to believe about the vaccines. Also why do Pfizer and Moderna special granted immunity from the government to protect themselves from getting sued over vaccine injuries? Doesn't it seem like they knew the vaccines would harm people and are covering up numbers of adverse reactions to avoid liability?
1 up, 2y
The rate is 5.5 per million.
0 ups, 2y
The government gave them immunity so they could fast track development without fear of getting sued. If they didn’t have such immunity, they would not have invested in the development and distribution before years of trials by people who sign a waver as test subjects. It doesn’t mean they knew it would harm people. It just means lawyers can’t make money off lawsuits claiming there should have been years of clinical trials when/if any long-term side effects occur. So, if you’re worried about it, wait a few years before getting vaccinated and pray that you live that long.

There are plenty of healthy people who have died from Covid. An unvaccinated coworker who was healthy, athletic and had no underlying health conditions contracted the disease and within weeks died in an ICU.

What the heck are you talking about? A carrier is anyone who can pass the virus on to others, regardless of weather they contract the disease or not.

Sure in that sense they are a carrier, but then anyone that gets covid is carrier by that definition.

I hear a lot of people claim that only the unvaccinated get covid and spread it and blame the unvaccinated when there is a resurgence of covid. I think people should know the fact that vaccinated people do still get breakthrough infections. It seems to me either the healthcare workers don't tell people that fact or maybe the healthcare workers are telling people that fact and people are not listening to that fact. I was just telling Memespirted that fact but he keeps denying it and insistes that only the unvaccinated spread that virus and insistes that the vaccines prevent people from getting covid even though that is not true. I point out that highly vaccinated nations such as Canada, Britain, Ireland, Denmark and Norway are having a high resurgence of covid cases and he blames it on the unvaccinated. Another lame argument that he makes is that those nations use the Chinese vaccine Sinovac when in reality those nations use Pfizer, Moderna and Astrazeneca.
0 ups, 2y,

Well that sucks.
The new surges are probably caused by variants.
The unvaccinated do sped it faster than vaccinated though.
And healthcare workers are telling ppl, but your right about ppl not wanting to listen.
Healthcare workers do want to help people but everyone seems to forget that the second someone says some random bullshit.
Take Dr. Fauci, if it was me I would gtfo the second death threats started rolling in.
But he stays and does his job, and that's why ppl hate him.
Unlike them, he is not a coward and will not be pushed around.
He doesn't care if you don't want to hear it, he is going to help as many ppl as he can until it kills him.
0 ups, 2y
That's true, new variants such as Delta and Omicron are causing a high surge however according to many studies, the data shows that even though Omicron is more contagious, the variant generally has mild cases, a very small amount of severe cases.

I'm not sure if the unvaccinated spread the variants more than the vaccinated. In the highly vaccinated nations where covid is surging, the cases among the vaccinated are higher than the unvaccinated. For example, The Canadian province of Ontario is over 75% vaccinated and according to a recent daily report of covid cases, On December 21, 2021, 3,453 new cases were recorded, the data showed 673 were unvaccinated people, 132 were partially vaccinated people, 2,500 were fully vaccinated people and for 148 people the vaccination status was unknown. So cases in the fully vaccinated are actually higher than the unvaccinated.

Here is the report from Global News: According to this recent daily covid cases report from Global News: https://www.google.com/amp/s/globalnews.ca/news/8465326/ontario-covid-cases-december-21-coronavirus/amp/

I think the reason why people want to believe that the vaccine makes it "impossible to get covid" is to have a false sense of security and a false sense of control over the situation, kind of how they hoard toilet paper. This mentality is deluded and I would probably even say dangerous. They need to face reality, learn that somethings are beyond our control and everybody gets sick at some point, it's a part of life but getting sick doesn't automatically mean "the end of your life".
