Looks like possibly its filled with boxes of goods to fill that shelf, too bad you didnt get a closer photo of those boxes on the trolley to see if they are full or not. Also too bad we cant see the rest of the stores stock status instead of just half of one aisle. That was the day they announced a 3 week lockdown to flatten the curve... When Americans freaked out and went nuts buying stuff though. Supply Chains had them refilled daily and within a week it was back to normal.

Now they are empty due to supply chain not moving.

We're 10 months into Biden, and there are nearly 100 container ships parked in the ocean. There's a big difference between panic buying and imports stuck in port.

If the shipping news outlets are to be believed, there is a dispute over the price of the containers. If the government is to be believed, there is a shortage of crane operators and truck drivers. Of course, last month they said it was due to increased pandemic buying......who or what will they blame it on next month?

California has put so many restriction on truck drivers many of them have either bypassed that state altogether or just given up. That's one issue. The other issue is the horrid inflation on food prices due to the Biden administration's insane spending.

Or it could be that paying people better unemployment than they can earn as wages is maybe not so smart.

During the covid freak out (which we're still in for some people) when everyone was buying up toilet paper and pasta.
