This is so true.

Also, the democrats apparently seem to ignore the fact that antifa and blm have both burned and terrorize cities.

You know what, I guess we can say that the Trump supporters were mostly peacefully protesting right.

The scum antifa changing into MAGA clothing, the CNN scums running around screaming about how they got it all on video, piece of shit pelosi and the house ignoring Trump's call fot the guard, pictures and video of them with her son in law that day outside, the videos of them "on tour" being led around inside, NOBODY HAD WEAPONS SO THE TERM INSURRECTION IS MORE MISDIRECTION.. I'm sick of this made up fairy tale world and I miss having a real leader. An elected one.

Or perhaps you do. The election was stolen. You choose to ignore it. I don't care what party you supposedly don't support or do support, that doesn't change the facts.

Oh so you mean the guy who, almost a full year before the Jan 6th insurrection, raised a big ruckus at the start of the BLM protests and was immediately called out for being a bad faith actor trying to profit off the protests, had his name circulated around BLM groups warning people not to work with or listen to him because he was trying to make money off causing chaos and had multiple connections to Proud Boys so could potentially be a plant to make them look bad, and several months prier began pitching qanon propaganda instead since they were much easier to profit off of, is your only "antifa" member you could "find". Well with that kind of investigative prowls it's no wonder protiva's lost over 100 court cases in their attempts to over throw the election.

I'm willing to bet you're right. There were Trump supporters in the mob. I'm also willing to bet it wasn't started by Conservatives. He didn't tell them to breach it and start shit.

Clearly he didn't tell them to go riot, but he used language, and so did Giuliani, that could be taken as agitating people and getting them amped up. Every comment you make in the political section is negative. You argue for the sake of arguing.

Don't look now, but you're using personal attacks against me while accusing me of doing the same. That is exactly what makes you a hypocrite. You're also using personal attacks to deflect from the debate. Typical of you.

You lied and said you couldn't find any quote online. I googled it and found it instantly. Now make up another lie to cover your lie that you couldn't find it.

You ignored the main topic of the debate which was Exact words and inciting harassment, and chose to focus on your fake trip. Beyond pathetic.
0 ups, 4m
I'm well aware of the Maxine Waters quote you're talking about, but your claim that she used the word "harass" to describe what people should do is false.

"So now your argument isn't about exact words, it's about who that specific message addressed to. Keep changing the topic to fit your lying narrative."

No, it's about exact words. That's why I mentioned exact words.

"You didn't look very hard, I found it easily. And it's from CNN."

Yeah, that's the same article I read. And it doesn't quote her anywhere telling people to "harass" anyone, as you claim.

"I don't have to fake trips like you did"

Yeah, because it totally makes sense for somebody to fake a trip to Las Vegas when they could easily just go there. You're acting like I told you I went to Monte Carlo or the middle of the Amazon jungle 😂 I find it so hilarious that I showed you proof that I was in Vegas and you still don't want to accept it. Are you a fan of YouTube? I am... to the extent that I enjoy some of the channels on it.

This is the same logic that is used to accuse YouTube critics of inciting harassment against the topic of their critique. The argument is employed regardless of whether or not the YouTuber explicitly states that their viewers should NOT attempt to contact or harass the individual/company.

It's always going to happen, however... let's not kid ourselves. If someone says something that someone else feel strongly about, they will react... sometimes in extreme ways. However, I don't blame the YouTubers for some people in their audience that act out. Similarly, I don't blame Trump for some people in his audience who did likewise nor am I surprised. Those YouTubers and politicians that go out of their way to incite this kind of behavior -- explicitly calling for it or actively endorsing it -- that's a different story.

Clearly none of the Democrat politicians, who supported protest after George Floyd’s death, didn’t tell anyone to riot. But they also used language that could be taken as agitating people and getting them amped up. So, why isn’t congress investigating any of them? This is the double standard the left lives by and the media ignores.

They claim the BLM protests, that provided cover for rioters, were different because it was about systemic racism by police. Yet Floyd’s death has never been linked to racism. The prosecutors didn’t even try to argue that Chavin’s actions were racially motivated. Yet the entire country was subjected to seven months of protests that resulted in riots, murders, arson, looting, etc in the name of Social justice.

So, if Trump provoked the Capitol riot, then people like Kamala Harris and Maxine Waters provoked the BLM riots and should be held to the same standard.
1 up, 4m,

1 up, 4m,
1 reply
“Did any of them provoke or incite riots that happened later that same day?”

What difference does that make? Besides, doesn’t the left claim that Trump incited the Capitol riot by comments he made over several days, weeks and months? The people who breeched the Capitol weren’t even at the rally were he spoke that day.
1 up, 4m,
1 reply
If you tell someone to riot, and months later they riot, you can't be charged with inciting a riot. Trump said what he said shortly before the Capitol was attacked, not days or weeks before.
1 up, 4m,
1 reply
Trump said what he said to an entirely different group of people that day. And those people didn’t riot at the Capitol, they were at a rally several blocks away. The rioters never heard Trump or Guliani say to “fight”. They also didn’t hear him say to protest peacefully. But at least you agree that he can’t be charged for telling anyone to riot days or weeks before, even if he actually said that. So, by your own argument, Trump can’t be held responsible for the Capitol riot.
1 up, 4m
You're acting like nobody at the Capitol building had any means of listening to what Trump was saying blocks away. Did none of them have cell phones?
0 ups, 4m,
1 reply
If... isn't did. I'm not surprised a dishonest person like you doesn't know the difference.

You already admitted Trump didn't provoke the riots. You can't say the same about Kamala or Maxine Waters.

You're babbling about standards when if it wasn't for double standards hypocrites like you would have no standards at all.
0 ups, 4m
"if it wasn't for double standards hypocrites like you would have no standards at all"

People like you say that because you think it sounds witty and clever, but it's not actually true. A lot of my standards are perfectly consistent and not double standards at all. Some of my standards might be double standards because I'm imperfect, but that's true of most people. But the fact that you think I don't have any consistent standards says more about you than it does about me.

No amount of evidence will convince you that you're wrong. We went through this two years ago when I went to Las Vegas and you said I didn't, so I provided about as much proof as I possibly could, and you were in flat-out denial, claiming I found that picture on the Internet, when there's no possible way that exact picture would be anywhere on the Internet.

“Donald Trump—I think you need to go back and punch him in the face,” - Senato Jon Tester (D.-Montana).

“I feel like punching him,” - Senator Cory Booker (D.-N.J.)

“If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him,” - Joe Biden.

“I will go and take Trump out tonight,” - Maxine Waters

“They’re not going to be able to go to a restaurant, they’re not going to be able to stop at a gas station, they’re not going to be able to shop at a department store. The people are going to turn on them, they’re going to protest, they’re going to absolutely harass them.” - Maxine Waters

Denis McDonough: “I’m a fighter and I’m relentless… I will fight like hell”

MSNBC guest: “They’re still going to have to go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump.”

Elizabeth Warren: “We stand up and we fight back. We do not back down and we do not compromise”
“We will use that vision to make sure that we fight harder, we fight tougher, and we fight more passionately than ever.”
“Fight hard for the changes Americans are demanding.”
“Get in the fight.”
“Use every tool possible to fight this change.”

Mark Warner: “We are going to make sire that this fight does not end tonight.”

Jerrold Nadler: “This is a fight for our lives, for our friends and family members”

Alex Padilla: “And you gotta be fierce in fighting back”

Now demand that all these Democrats be removed for attempting to incite an insurrection or you’re a hypocrite.

Also, perhaps you missed this sentence too: “You have to get your people to fight and if they don’t fight, we’re going to primary the hell out of them.”
Not only is saying “fight” obviously a hyperbole, but in context he says to do so peacefully and was referring to demanding action from members of congress and supporting primary challenges to those who don’t.

The dishonest way you phrase your ridiculous narratives is astounding.

You're willing to bet the cost of a happy meal that the people who engaged in violence that day, the vast majority, over 75% were Trump supporters.

Empty your bank account and head to McDonald's, you lost the bet.

The vast majority of the protesters were peaceful. A small percentage were violent.
Some may have been liberals posing as Trump supporters, you don't know, but you're Octavia, only your dishonest narrative matters.

Here's a real bet I know you'll cower away from. I'm willing to bet you leaving IMGFLIP for 6 months that the people who engaged in violence, looting and burning of private businesses in Minneapolis, Portland, And Kenosha were BLM, Antifa and America hating leftists, not Trump supporters posing as liberals.

That's actually a good point.

That's a point that Octavia refuses to acknowledge. His dishonest narrative is more important to him.

But every single insurrectionist that breached the capitol was breaking the law and violating their duty to their country by attempting to overturn a certified election (over 75% Trumpers per your comment). All of the uninvited on Jan 6th are treasonous felons and deserve the full measure of the law. Burning a CVS is criminal and some of those folks showed up in Minneapolis and Portland and deserve appropriate punishment, looting the seat of government at the behest of a sore loser is treason. What is the mandated punishment for treason?

More Democrat talking points and hypocrisy, Odd when Democrats protesters stormed the capital in Wisconsin, Democrat Nancy Pelosi praised the protesters for an “impressive show of democracy in action” None of those treasonous felons were invited. None received the full measure of the law

What is the mandated punishment for treason? Fabricate a punishment, or did you use up all your creativity fabricating your ridiculous narrative.

You are correct. Looting the seat of government is not how sore losers should act.
The correct way for losers to act is to is to push a lying narrative for 4 years that the winning candidate colluded with Russia to steal an election. The correct way for losers to act is to have partisan impeachment hearings for imaginary crimes. The correct way for losers to act is to say anyone who voted for a winning candidate is a racist, misogynistic, homophobic traitor and should be executed.

BTW... Those folks that showed up in Minneapolis and Portland to burn a CVS were bailed out of jail by Democrats.

Your "leader" lost. Repeating a lie until you believe it yourself makes you sound like an idiot, FYI, BTW, TGIF

Tell that to all those who repeatedly lied about collusion when their “leader”, Hillary Clinton, lost her election bid.

You couldn't refute anything I said so you changed the topic. Shocker.

He was "Your" leader too. Screaming he wasn't made you look like an idiot.

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000

“You're acting like nobody at the Capitol building had any means of listening to what Trump was saying blocks away. Did none of them have cell phones?”

So, are you suggesting that the rioters, who started assembling at the Capitol before Trump’s rally, spontaneously decided to break in based on what some of them heard on their cell phones? How did they have time to go get the equipment used to scale walls a few minutes after the rally ended? Do you think the guy who went in carrying a bunch of zip ties just happened to have them in his pocket that day? At least 35 of those arrested were indicted on conspiracy cases.

Face it, this was planned in advance and had nothing to do with what Trump said that day.

It's entirely possible that it was both. I believe it was planned in advance and I also believe that Trump helped add fuel to the fire that day. If a riot is going on or about to happen and you encourage it, I'm pretty sure you can still be charged with inciting a riot, even if it was already happening. Because you're helping to encourage it.

Ok then, the same can be said about the Democrats leaders who voiced their support of BLM protests the same days that those riots occurred.

1. Caps lock is not your friend
2. There were people who actually brought weapons to the event that day. A man from Alabama was arrested with five illegal weapons (rifles and pistols) and Molotov cocktails in his vehicle.
3. There was actually quite a bit of violence. Police officers were physically assaulted by some of the people storming into the building
4. She was killed while trying to enter a restricted area. That shooting was completely justified.
