Still, https://www.gunviolencearchive.org shows that 15,208 people died from gun violence in 2019.

Subtract police shootings, self defense, and suicide - and that number goes way way down.

Early estimates say homocides are up 30% for 2020, the highest single year increase (in percentage and in number) since data started in 1960. The 2019 numbers have been out for six months or more i believe. Takes about a year or less now.

I cant find it but I saw one commentator say violence around the riots was a few thousand, which would be most of the increase. Not riot violence, although there was that. Related gang violence from the lawlessness. One estimate said 20k for 2020 is very possible.

You can always find examples and counter-examples if you look for something that fits your agenda. In Switzerland every able-bodied man is - not just allowed, but required! - to have a gun in his home, as all men are members of the national militia.

Switzerland has had no civil massacres and has one of the most stable governments and one of the best economies in the world. And it is quite developed, too.

In Australia they also banned relatively recently. Now their violent crime rate is higher than it used to be.

A rather silly article. The guy openly admits that Australia's gun control laws reduced gun violence and deaths - in other words, the law worked. Gun control works (in Australia).
Then he says that other unrelated crimes not covered by that specific legislation aren't affected by the law, so gun control doesn't work.

You’re right, they won’t. They will chip away at certain types of guns but they won’t take them all. They will try to tax and regulate them out of existence instead, which will discourage new buyers. Those of us who have been collecting for a minute and preparing will be unaffected.
