And I'll say it again for those who do not like it. Trump has more than proven his incompetence and his inability to appeal to a majority of Americans. The most patriotic thing he can do right now is resign and give someone else a shot at the Presidency. Either Pence or Biden would be more preferable than Trump for four more years. Neither are capable either, but at least the slate would be somewhat more clean to start over with the American people who clearly no longer trust Trump, nor each other.

Actually, if he did, us Liberals would think he had some decency and would actually have respect for him. Unfortunately the truth is that he incites all the violence and is the cause for all the deaths.
And yes...I know I know I know...he is never responsible for anything as far as his supporters are concerned.
4 ups, 4y
The truth is, as president he has no authority over the local issues. Unless a state governor or legislature asks for federal intervention, he can do nothing other than protect federal property.

Haha you are stupid.

He called people who drove through the streets shooting people with paintballs guns good people because “they aren’t bullets”

He called people from QANON “good people” simply because they think he isn’t the manchild he is.

A POTUS who calls people who drive through streets shooting people “good people” is the kind of POTUS who incites riots with every word that exits his mouth.

✨ shut up and read something other than Fox News before coming back ✨

Not giving in to extortion. If you claimed “not my president“ then you voluntarily removed yourself from citizenship by denying a duly elected president making you a seditious traitor. As a traitor then you therefore have no say in the country and your threats of violence will be met with violence.
0 ups, 4y,

Lol I don’t think you know what many people mean when they say ‘not my president.’ It doesn’t mean ‘I’m no longer an American’ or ‘I refuse to accept that Trump won the election.’

It means that the current occupant of the White House is not only uninterested in serving those who didn’t vote for him; he actively works to keep us angry with him. Sure, pursue your political agenda, that’s politics. But spending every waking moment finding new ways to troll the libs for no other reason than to keep your supporters laughing is not governing - it’s pacifying and distracting your people so they pay less attention to what you’re doing than they do to what you’re saying. It’s running games in the coliseum while the masses starve.

He’s not your president either. He’s just keeping you amused in order to keep your support when he does obviously idiotic or harmful things. There’s no governing here. Just control.
0 ups, 4y,

Saying not my president disavows your allegiance to the country that legally elected someone you don’t like. No one took away your citizenship you gave it away by not accepting the loss of your candidate. I lived under a few presidents I didn’t like or agree with but I never denied he was the president of our country.

I like how you see the issue being trump constantly trolling the left, yet have nothing to say about the lefts harassment and constant legal attacks for four straight years. One day maybe a Democrat will be in office and get the same treatment to the detriment of the country. Make the president so busy with legal matters he doesn’t have a chance to deal with other matters. Failure of the left to accept their loss will lead to another. The left does not have a right to the presidency, you gotta win it. If you don’t you take the loss and try to do better next time. That’s the history of this country. All that has gone by the wayside now and Democrats brought that about.

Trolls are so boring. It’s an incredibly easy game to play, really...all you have to do is pick a divisive line and say it over and over again, disregarding anything the other side says. Be the last one standing, and you win. You don’t have to be smart, you just have to stay without bringing anything new to the table or learning anything.

I know you need the last word, so go for it. I’ll read it. If it’s interesting I’ll respond; a lack of response means I’m still bored with you.

0 ups, 4y
You gotta win participation trophy boy. That’s the problem. You think you should win even if you don’t win and that’s really how dictatorships happen. Last I checked he is the legally elected president. Not anyone but the Democrats and their stupid policies and actions responsible for that.
2 ups, 4y,

Sure, if this were a dictatorship and the President's power had any sort of final authority over the status of someone's citizenship. We're very fortunate that that is not how it works.

The President may have some say in how citizenship is granted or revoked, but loyalty to our representatives, no matter what level of office, is not a prerequisite to US citizenship. Obedience to the laws of our country, however, are another thing. Denying the President in power he or she has is actually not traitorous at all. As we are all protected by the First Amendment to say so. Threatening the President, however, is another matter.

I'm not doing that. Merely stating that the President should resign since he obviously doesn't know what he's doing.
1 up, 4y,

As always you have a reasoned argument but the line between simple opposition to policy and clear revolt against elected officials puts it in line with sedition. Granted maybe just saying not my president doesn’t qualify, but open statements to “burn it down” are another matter. That is sedition and then actually burning things down then proves intent. Might be time to invoke the act.

I could give a shit about Trump. Never voted for him, but I will this election because whatever he is, it’s better than the Demorat alternative of hate America Communism and anarchy with criminals running wild in the streets. You can’t have that much hate and be the good guys. The Democrats lost their way and went waaaaay left.

I've been through seven Democrats and I'm pretty sure that the DNC didn't elect the Social Democrats options of Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders. Or even Andrew Yang who was outright advocating for Socialism. They chose what was, arguably, the most moderate choice.

We have criminals running wild on the streets right now under Trump's Presidency. You very clearly hate the Democrats and therefor, by your own admission, can't be a good guy either. It is ludicrous to continue to criminalize political opponents.

continue until, as you say, we wreak havoc on the nation and come to the conclusion talking and compromising is preferable to Killing each other

I would not call Trump the greatest threat, be is certainly a problem. Patriotism has nothing to do with Trump's ability, or lack thereof, to govern. If you were the Voice of opposition I could easily discuss our differences with respect for your disagreement to my views. But you aren’t, the voice that is loudest says other things that require submission and acceptance of guilt for offenses not given. They demand a renunciation of my history and my values, and my country. I am no blind Trump supporter I see his delusions of grandeur and unpresidential behavior, but those who speak loudest say I disagree with them on an issue so I am a Trumptard. So be it, I embrace that and have found I appreciate him more than I did. China is the enemy, open borders with a welfare state would be a disaster.
I see the cult of ignorance behavior by the top Democrats as well. Failure to stand for common decency and denounce violence that is blatantly obvious. The Democratic Party is responsible for Trump. Hillary called half the nation deplorable and gave the white middle class the finger. That’s why trump won. They have offered no viable alternative for this election Biden is a flip flopping pawn who will do whatever his handlers tell him. I will never surrender so it sounds like a fight to me. They want one, they have no idea what they are bringing upon the nation, but the voices speaking gun the loudest are not looking for debate they are looking for surrender.
0 ups, 4y
No, the majority of the American people chose Hillary. The Electoral College chose Trump. And will probably do so again.

I have never liked the term flip-flopper to describe a politician. It is too easy an attack that you could easily put on any politician who changes their mind on an issue. And I get it, Biden's been in office for what? 50 years. He's bound to have changed his mind on things.

Is Trump any more consistent? Well, lets see...

“I have no intention of running for president.” (Time, September 14, 1987)

“I am officially running for president.” (New York, June 16, 2015)

“I don’t want it for myself. I don’t need it for myself.” (ABC News, November 20, 2015)

“I wanted to do this for myself. … I had to do it for myself.” (Time, August 18, 2015)

“Politicians are all talk and no action.” (Twitter, May 27, 2015)

“I’m not a politician.” (CNN, August 11, 2015)

“I’m no different than a politician running for office.” (New York Times, July 28, 2015)

“If I ever ran for office, I’d do better as a Democrat than as a Republican—and that’s not because I’d be more liberal, because I’m conservative.” (Playboy, March 1990)

“I’m a registered Republican. I’m a pretty conservative guy. I’m somewhat liberal on social issues, especially health care.” (CNN, October 8, 1999)

“You’d be shocked if I said that in many cases I probably identify more as a Democrat.” (CNN, March 21, 2004)

“Look, I’m a Republican. I’m a very conservative guy in many respects—I guess in most respects.” (The Hugh Hewitt Show, February 25, 2015)

“I’ve actually been an activist Democrat and Republican.” (CNN, October 8, 1999)

“Folks, I’m a conservative, but at this point, who cares? We got to straighten out the country.” (Burlingame, California, April 29, 2016)

“I’m totally pro-choice.” (Fox News, October 31, 1999)

“I’m pro-life.” (CPAC, February 10, 2011)

“Look, I’m very pro-choice. I hate the concept of abortion. I hate it. I hate everything it stands for. I cringe when I listen to people debating the subject, but you still—I just believe in choice. … I am strongly for choice, and yet I hate the concept of abortion. … I am pro-choice in every respect … but I just hate it.” (NBC News, October 24, 1999)

“I am very, very proud to say that I’m pro-life.” (Cleveland, Ohio, August 6, 2015)

I will give you this tho, the media don't much like 'em. It is too easy to find something bad about Trump online. The media didn't like Reagan either. But he didn't call them the Enemy
0 ups, 4y
The electoral College is how elections have been decided since inception so it doesn’t make the election illegitimate. As you know several presidents besides Trump did not get the majority in the popular vote and yet won the election. The electoral college serves a purpose and keeps California and New York deciding everything for the rest of the country. Now you want to re arrange elections let’s talk about how they are allocated. All republican votes in California are meaningless in national election because the state doesn’t apportion based on votes it’s winner take all. So all of California’s electora are blue every year, thats tyranny.

No I think it’s too late to reason with rabid violent dogs. I will never be compliant to them M, I will never raise my fist because they demand it. I will never submit to the threat of their violence. They do not seek common ground, they seek complete surrender. I will not.
0 ups, 4y
It's hard to admit that people have it harder than you when your life is probably hard too. I'm not asking you to surrender. I'm asking you to stop seeing these people as rabid violent dogs, but as people. That appears to be the primary point their message was all about. And while I don't like what they're doing, I can at least respect that if not understand that. And you don't stop talking. You don't quit talking. Because when the talking stops, someone will die. Many people will die until everybody will have to do what we should've done in the first place and that's sit down and talk!

"tearing itself apart" LOL
What is happening in exclusively Democrat cities is not organic, it is artificial.
It is an attempt to overthrow the government by globalists and corporate swine.
If you think this is about 14 black criminals who resisted arrest being shot in 2019, you're nuts. Black Lives Matter is Marxism, not about racism.

I am happy that moderates are being driven into the GOP where they belong and the Democrats have finally become the leftist monster they denied being all these years.
This "burn and loot" political strategy of the Democrats is the dumbest political play in all of recorded history. The "revolution" will fail miserably and Trump will have a mandate to clean house and drain the Swamp as he promised.
0 ups, 4y,
1 reply
I know that it's important for you to dismiss the problem by calling the city a Democrat. People dying isn't artificial. Neither party is against corporate so don't pretend the Republicans are exclusively for the middle class. What you call globalist, seems more like better diplomacy to me. I know it seems strange to you that we not antagonize our allies and defend our enemies. I get it tho, it's important to prioritize domestic workers than these businesses outsourcing to foreign employers and I agree with that. But these tariffs are not the answer. Those actually hurt domestic businesses and farmers more.

We don't really know what moderates are doing. Not yet. And you can label me a raging liberal all you like but the fact of the matter is I've only ever voted for one Democrat my entire life. And come November, that will be a grand total of two. I wouldn't be so bold as to speak for moderates or my fellow conservatives who are genuinely unhappy than Trump but I think there are more of us, then there are of you. And we'll find out if that's true come November.

So don't be so shocked if Trump loses the popular vote again.

One little fact blows your long winded bullshit out of the water.
Every single city burning has been run by Democrats for decades and the police are being hamstrung by their mayors and most people see that.
When people vote with their feet and millions move out of liberal controlled cities, that is proof of what the moderates are thinking.
You have TDS. You're more long winded and sound a little more coherent, but you're not half as smart as you pretend to be here. Need proof? You are voting for a man with the mental capacity of an eggplant that cannot even read a teleprompter, as proven yesterday in Pittsburgh. Enjoy the debates. Enjoy the Trump inspired landslides as the House and Senate also return to GOP control.
0 ups, 4y
I would argue that Trump also has the mental capacity of an eggplant.

The difference between you and me, is that if your guy wins come November, you're going to continue to defend his blatant incompetence.

Me, on the other hand, have no qualms about being critical of the people I elect.
