That's my point as well. The backlash of #metoo focuses on the idea of innocent men being accused when no one really knows for sure whether they are guilty or not. Sexual assault and harassment has been historically difficult to prove. Metoo is about being able to come forward and talk about it which victims desperately need to be able to do. Attempting to discredit the entire movement by trying to focus on the few caught up in collateral damage is anti-woman in itself. Lumping all feminists together and ridiculing feminism as a whole as something negative is anti-woman because not all feminists are ball-busting man-haters.

When women act like idiots and accuse someone of being "sexist" in order to avoid actually having to defend their political position when THEY ARE A POLITICIAN, they make themselves a target. No one would have given a second thought to a while male politician being challenged to a debate. Being a female and a minority does not make their positions immune from scrutiny and when they imply such, you have to wonder if they secretly know just how weak their positions are.

Ben Shapiro is a troll and a fairly complete asshole. He's not entitled to a debate, or anything else, because he's not interested in a conversation, he's interested in promoting his brand. You don't waste time debating people like that.

But that wasn't her response. That would have been a legitimate arguement against debating him. She accused him of being sexist and likened it to catcalling.

That was her response. She used an analogy to describe the situation. Catcallers aren't entitled to a response, and neither is he. She never called him a sexist, that was the butthurt spin that he put on it to get you guys riled up.
