Damn, haven't heard about the lake. All they say on the news is when red tides mess up swimming at beaches, but at least those are not in a confined space like Okechobee.
As ex of mine moved there last fall, and she was complaining about the heat in the winter! I gotta check her Facebook to see if the dingbat melted yet. She's had friends that moved there and came back after a couple of years, she knew the deal.
