"Leave the kids home." -Renee shouts to her woman
"That's fine dude, I'm not mad at you." Renee softly speaks passive aggressively to Agent Ross as he's seeking evidence of identification through getting her license plate (absent on the front of her rig) information off her specific vehicle, so he walks around back to gain video documentation.
Her Woman, agitated and aggressive verbal smart-aleck tone with silent officer Ross:
"That's okay. We don't change our plates every morning. Just so you know. It'll be the same plate when you come talk to us later. That's fine. U.S. Citizen. FORMER F**KING VETERAN! You want to come at us? You wanna come at us? (She taunts Agent Ross. Meanwhile she follows him to his rig taking video with her camera and gets ALL UP in his space, as can be verified on the Forbes Breaking News Angle from across the street) I said, Go get yourself some Lunch, Big Boy. Go ahead."
Meanwhile she hears the orders given to Renee by another officer, and attempts to get back into their shared rig, so they can FLEE detainment and likely arrest together, Thelma & Lousise Style.
Agent/Fed Officer approaching Renee gives verbal Orders to Renee':
"Get out of the car. Get out of the car. Get out of the f**king car."
The passenger tries to get into the passenger side, yet as she grabs the door handle it does not result in the door opening, the handle flipping out of her grasp back, to the door.
The interesting point here is that this is the moment that Renee' decides selfishly, that it's in her best interest to use her SUV to Flee for her own sake and evade the detainment. and make her 'getaway'.
She'd rather risk even running over her partner trying to get back in, or run over the agent in front of her, than let the other agent open her door, and keep her vehicles transmission in Park.
Instead she reverses, then Puts it into Drive and hastily to flee, accelerates.
She had alternate options to choose from than what she did.
Her vehicle is a weapon. Did she chose to leave it in Park? No. Cognitively she put it in reverse, then into Drive.
She chose to use her vehicle as a weapon, and flee the scene, be damned anyone's life around her.
Three lives were recklessly in potential harms way with her irrational response
1. The officer with his arm inside her window attempting to unlock or pull the keys.
2. The officer walking in front of her escape path. Officer Ross
3. Her own partner, attempting to get back into the passenger side.
