If she did this in a blue state she'll probably get a 1st degree murder charge if that guy dies.

To them, stats from a study conducted by the University of Florida that found that guns in the hands of private citizens are used 3.6 time MORE to prevent crime than to commit crime. And that's just based on the times that a gun used to prevent crime was reported.

Many times the gun was never fired and the crime was prevented when the criminal ran away.

Too bad that good girl wasn't in Uvalde, TX when the good cops with guns were hiding in the hallways while the school shooter was killing 19 children.

I had only noticed that detail after you pointed out that the footage was from Brazil.
I'm kicking myself for not noticing it prior...

I only noticed it because I follow a couple of geo-locater accounts on TikTok and that's one of the first things they look for- what are the license plates, what are the street signs, etc.

That's why I'm kicking myself, because I tend to look at plates and didn't this time.

The plate number is not blurred out or censored...this news story made all over major news networks and inside edition.

This would be considered a violation within the privacy act of all networks that aired the story and they would be considered liable.

However, manufactured news needs not apply because it's not a real story. And that's not the only bit that should make a person question the authenticity of this story either.

Dunno if my account can, but I certainly can explain the difference- there was nothing wrong about them, they're just different.

As the picture shows, the American-style plate is thicker/taller than the european one.

In the GIF, the red car backs up and then drives away. For a moment, you can see the rear license plate. It's a long thin rectangle- a non-United States plate. So you know this didn't happen in the US.

And, if you think about it, if someone had tried to rob a bunch of women by walking up to them with a gun we would have heard about it. Fox News alone would have at least a week's worth of coverage.

So, non-US plate and no news coverage = super weird.

I started with "woman shots man at crosswalk" and there it was- a news story from Brazil 7 years ago. An off-duty cop was shopping with her daughter when the guy walked across the street and tried to rob the group of women. She shot him 3 times. He later died of his wounds.
