A “time-out” of 6 months or two years is arbitrary, as is Twitter’s indefinite suspension. Here’s how both platforms should have handled it:; 1. Notify Trump of which terms and conditions he broke; 2. Give Trump guidance for how he may comply with terms going forward, if he wishes to return; 3. If Trump is able to comply, then he can stay.
