Well howdy, Politics-stream kids, it's Socialism again and today's topic is Putin being kinda obvious. | So the congressional GOP is howler monkeying and making political hay over Putin saying Biden being re-elected is better for Russia while congressional democrats are relatively quiet on the issue -let's dig into it. Keeping in mind that Putin's a troll, he knows there's a percentage of undecided U.S. voters who'll hear that and reflexively resolve not to vote for Biden without ever reflecting on what's actually in Putin's interests... -except why would he say something like that, something that's a wrapped-with-a-bow gift to Trump in a televised interview if he didn't want the international press to run with it? So what IS in Putin's interests? Well... he's done a pretty good job of making it clear he wants all of Ukraine and Biden's commitment to backing Ukraine's defense efforts will hurt rather than help him so it's reasonable to assume having a U.S. president who isn't committed to thwarting Russia's war efforts falls into that category. But let's not stop there -what else is in Putin's interests? The U.S. pulling out of NATO is definitely in his interests what with his demonstrated desire to kick down his neighbors' doors. And to get that, he needs his Spray-tanned Fawnboy back in power -you know, the guy who essentially said he'd look the other way while Russia invades whatever NATO country it wants and/or cheer on the sidelines. Well howdy there, Imgflip Trump-cult kids, it's Socialism again | Soooo... remember all those fake electors from the 2020 swing-states? Yup... 16 of them have been criminally charged. O' course, they're all in legal jeopardy over mail fraud & filing false documents with the government. Some of them were caught exchanging emails confirming their acting at the direction of, in concert with the Trump campaign... Well howdy there, imgflip conservatives, it's Socialism again; and today, I'd like to talk to you about some things that you guys seem determined to conveniently ignore. When Congress actually gets off its collective ass, puts aside partisanship and infighting to pass legislation, that's me doing my job. When CBP seizes shipments of illicit drugs, captures illegal immigrants, finds and closes cross-border tunnels, that's me doing my job. When the Coast Guard rescues capsize/sinking victims from the ocean, lifeguards haul drowning victims in and; administer CPR, firefighters extinguish a burn, rescue people from burning buildings, that's me doing my job. When DOT builds & repairs roads and bridges, spreads salt and sand to combat icy conditions, provides roadside assistance, that's me doing my job. When the FBI roots out organized crime, tracks down and arrests crooks, busts interstate drug/human traffickers, that's me doing my job. When the police run stings on drug dealers, theft rings, CPS rescues abused children from unfit parents, that's me doing my job. When the military deploys to conflict/ disaster zones to fight the good (hopefully) fight, that's me doing my job. Hey there, Trump-cult kids, it's Socialism again. | It's kinda weird how an "innocent" guy (self-proclaimed, mind you) accused of so many crimes is demanding a pardon-pledge from his political rivals. If the evidence doesn't back the charges, what's the problem? Anyway... let's talk about Dear Leader trying to self-pardon if he's re-elected. Obviously -to any thinking person at least- self-pardon is a non-starter regardless; but let's explore the possibles if he were to try and the SCOTUS gave it a 6/3 green light... Now that there's zero Presidential accountability, a coalition of the willing and carte blanche to do whatever, whenever to whoever he pleases, he could get rid of the SCOTUS and Congress; gotta eliminate those checks and balances first thing. And the Constitution? Straight into the trash. Who needs all those rules --especially the pesky ones about free speech, unreasonable search and seizure, keeping and bearing Arms, probable cause, due process and equal protections, right? He could/would necessarily need to have anyone in the DOJ, FBI, CIA, NSA, etc., state and local governments who ever made/makes even the slightest peep against him assassinated and replaced with toadies. How else can you have a proper schutzstaffel? Oh, and he'd have to end free elections -after he's got a list of all the people who voted against him or for someone he doesn't like, naturally... because pogroms; can't have dissent or the plebiscite deciding who's in power... You're probably thinking; "Trump would never do anything so monstrous!!"; Wouldn't he? He didn't hesitate to try to force an old woman out into the street so he could raze her house to build a limo parking lot... Still, none of that would really be your concern, right? You guys would be there, in lock-step, helping derp Fuhrer build the new Fatherland, wouldn't you? It's not like any of that would impact your lives, would it?
