Well howdy there, Trump-cult kids, it's Socialism again and today I'm going to talk about a subject that's probably going to make you reeeeeee... Remember: I don't make the facts, I just talk about them; So what is it? It's polling numbers. Now, you guys like to say Dear Leader's ahead in the polls and point to it as proof that he'll be re-elected in 2024... The problem is he's only the front-runner among GOP candidates; in nationwide polls he and Biden are a bit neck-and-neck in the favorability ratings... but the catch there is neither of them are above 50% with Biden slightly leading; If we look at an average of 2020 voter polls; the numbers show both candidates started in January under 50% and by November, only Biden had crossed the halfway mark. Why? To put it flatly, Trump is why. See... between January and November, Dear Leader cranked his whiny, I'm-a-victim rhetoric up to 11, mixed in heavy doses of ad hominem attacks on Biden, xenophobia, isolationism, divisiveness, scapegoating... (and there were that whole thing with the COVIDs and whatnot); While that may play well with the folks who wear his crappy, made-in-China merch, it doesn't necessarily fly with the rest of the voting public. So here we are, fast approaching the four year mark and this time, not only is your boy running the same crybaby playbook that turned off voters last time around, he's got the botched COVID response AND 4 criminal indictment-shaped millstones around his neck. Yeah, I know... "Joke's on you, a-hole; the indictments just drive his numbers up!!"; which means, assuming he doesn't get primaried, the same people who turned out in record numbers to vote against him in 2020 are probably going to again... and this time, they'll be joined by all the people who caught their last straw when the indictments rolled out. --that's true... among republicans. Yup, the swing-voters weren't voting for Biden, they voted against Trump
