Soooo... Orange Sleazus has stated his goal is to consolidate a lot of independent federal agencies under the direct control of the POTUS. Ask yourself: "Is this a good idea?"; I reasonable suspect your immediate, no-thought, own-me-some- libs answer is; "That's the best dang idea I ever done heard!!"; Is it, though? Unless Dear Leader manages to convert the U.S. to a dictatorship (you guys know dictators' go-to move is taking all the guns, right?) he'd only be in power four years. So the last four years of Donny's dipsh!ttery was enough to make even Joe Biden bi-partisan palatable as a candidate and now that you guys are addicted to Trumpassery, are you gonna be satisfied with a case of Don Light? Probably not... which effectively means that whoever comes after on the GOP side is gonna have to be equal to or out-sh!tbag him... ...which means that pretty much any halfway-decent candidate the Democrats put forward is almost guaranteed to take the Oval Office. And hey... look at that... all that consolidated power of formerly independent, weaponizable agencies would then be in the hand of your political arch-nemesis... ...and when you had the chance to stop it, could have stopped it, you didn't because you were too busy putting Dear Leader over country.
