If only I had the time to tell the full complete story (here's the abridged version) of a customer I was somewhat friends with back in the day, who won a national prestige teaching award in the late 80s and was invited to a global UN(?) convention in 1994(? I think?) for the education seminars in Brazil..
And how on the last day the journalists covering it were scheduled to leave and a guidebook was handed out to the educators that had a segment that almost literally said word for word (he brought the booklet in and I saw it with my own eyes + photos circulated the internet back in the early 2000s)
That people with more education earn more money and therefore use more resources, therefore for the sake of the global environment it's advantageous to prevent this.... And then almost immediately educational standards across the world turned to crap.

That's bs, we all know none of the politicians care about the environment. It's just a lame excuse

Well the problem with that thinking is... the so called "educated" people in our country also happen to be the most easily manipulated. Just look at the (cough cough) "educated" people in the DSA.

I just saw a statistic on Facebook that before Carter gave us the Dept of Education the US was #1 in the world for education. Now we are #40. It's not all the Dept of Educations fault but a lot of it is. It is time to end the Dept of Education. It hasn't worked but then when was the last time ANY social program worked. The poverty rate has remained the same since LBJ's Great Society welfare program. FDR's Ponzi scheme, Social Security, is going bankrupt because politicians don't want to try to fix it. Woodrow Wilsons, Federal Reserve has devalued our dollar to almost worthless which is the reason for everything costing so much.

Those are ALL Democrat policies and they are all failures.

You should see what happens to the dummies once grown. They go to college and lose the freaking minds.

You might wanna look at stats for home schooled kids over public school children. For over 20 years home schooled children have consistently outperformed public school kids on college entry tests and standardized tests.
It's no secret - the Teachers Union doesn't give a warm n steamy bowel movement about education. They only care about Marxist indoctrination.
