That's like saying to someone in the slums in india that they were not born into a caste system. It's the same dam thing except some people have luck and help in America to better themselves. Why does a single person pay more taxes than a married person? Because the system is set up to make individuals suffer.

Never heard of marriage penalty?

Single people don’t pay more taxes than married people. The standard deduction for a married couple filing jointly is exactly double that of a single person.
Married couples actually end up paying more if a married couple has two very high, equal incomes. Then they may experience a "marriage penalty." This happens because the top tax bracket for married couples is not double that of a single person.

I guess moral of the story rich people have sometimes been born into money have the assets and tax loopholes to hide in. Compared to the average wage earner spending 11% of their paycheck on taxes...

The dummies in the DSA party think that someone becoming rich is only possible by stealing money, rather than reality where a business owner creates and sells a popular product to people who willingly purchase it.

The extreme hypocrisy and irony is that the Socialists want to force the public to purchase non-market valued essentials and directly control the economy and production, doing away with a free market, which eventually makes the ruling party super rich and the people very poor.

What about rising costs? taxes? the war in Iran affecting gas prices?

Inflation is taxation without representation. . .and it isn't businesses that are in control of the tax rates. . .as for Iran and gas prices, ask oil speculators why gas is going up or governors why they won't let drilling happen in their states.

They have such a large say in the economy considering they basically control the U.S government. So they are responsible for my financial situations in a roundabout way. Eat. The. Rich.
