The mods have gotten really sensitive lately. I quoted John Wilkes Boothe in a comment and got a 24 hour time out. Some of the lib comments are so rude and over the top, but they still stay posted and trolling. Has me thinking one of the mods is the alts posting.

I think it's the mods, they're trying to keep everything from becoming a verbal brawl. Probably best to consider their limits, it might make the discussions more productive, but not as funny. Good natured teasing is one thing, but insulting because you can't reasonably discuss things has no entertainment value.

Most of get "insulted daily" by the same users, and their alts, interestingly, they never seem to get a time out. Many of us have people that will attack one of our memes within a few minutes of posting it. They do not even pretend they are on IMGFLIP to discuss anything. I think the difference is we do not flag their comments, I only flag the F bombs, but to each his/her own. We are adults and either respond or ignore the insults, and off topic attempts to start drama. Because we are different, we get punished with childish timeouts. It always gets worse when elections are close, the moderators might think they are helping one party or the other but in reality, none of us are going to change this country.

It's tough being the only adult in the room. It has to be pretty bad before I flag anything, but seems even a cool breeze on a summer night offends some of these trolls.

I rarely check the stats or look to see if I have followers. I only comment on the memes of people I follow and respect, never on a trolls. I couldn't tell you which of my daily trolls make memes. And yet I suspect based on how quickly they arrive when I post a new meme that some of my followers live to cause drama. It must be nice to have that much free time and no responsibilities.
